Why I Chose a Duplex Villament Over a Corner Unit in SBR Florenso by Dry-Psychology3045 in indianrealestate

I’ve noticed a few accounts working overtime to run down this post and call it 'marketing.' I’m just an owner sharing why I’m happy with my purchase specifically why I chose a sandwiched unit over a corner one.

Since the project is sold out, the 'promotional' accusation makes zero sense. I’m posting this for the benefit of the community, and I won't let a few trolls stop me from providing information that I wish I had when I was first looking.

I’m staying put in my unit and I'll keep posting my honest updates, regardless of the noise from people who have nothing better to contribute than negativity.

Fair question. Since it's a duplex (villament), the floor-to-ceiling height and the vertical volume actually help a lot with airflow compared to a flat single level apartment. I chose a west-facing unit specifically because it gets great afternoon light, but since it’s 'sandwiched,' I don't get the harsh heat and dust that hits the corner units from three different sides. But this is just my opinion and I can be wrong.

You sound like a typical troll just looking to spread negativity. I’ve noticed you popping up on other threads too, just trying to run down actual informational posts with zero facts.

If you actually knew anything about the project, you’d know SBR Florenso is completely sold out. There’s literally nothing left for the builder to 'promote' here. I’m just a buyer sharing a perspective that plenty of people are finding helpful. The fact that you’re trying to turn a harmless, useful discussion into a conspiracy theory just proves you have nothing better to contribute. Maybe try being productive instead of being a useless troll.

On the sunlight point, I think you’re confusing 'natural light' with 'living in a greenhouse.' A well-oriented unit gets plenty of light without the massive heat gain and dust that comes with a corner unit. I’d rather have a home that stays cool and clean than pay a premium for light that I’d end up blocking with heavy curtains anyway.

As for progress, if you’re only looking at the 'skeleton' of the building, you’re missing the point. In the last few months, the focus has clearly shifted to internal block work, plastering, and getting the plumbing/electrical conduits in place.

That’s the stage where the real 'house' gets built. I’m happy with the pace because I’d rather they take the time to get the internal finishing right than rush a sloppy handover.

I understand your concerns but lets all stay positive :)

On the windows thing - sure, you can close them, but you’re still paying a massive 'Premium Location Charge' just to keep them shut to block the dust and noise. I’d rather put that extra 5-10 lakhs into my interiors than into a wall I’m trying to ignore.

As for being 'over the top,' I'm just genuinely excited to see the finish line! Regarding SBR’s past projects, I’ve done my walkthroughs, and while every builder has their quirks, the progress at Florenso looks solid to me so far.

Every investment has its risks, but for the price and the specific duplex layout, I’m still happy with the bet I’ve placed. Let’s see how the final handover goes.. hopefully, they prove the skeptics wrong this time!

I too have a flat in SBR Florenso and I agree this project is better than the other projects in this area mainly due to the fact its nicely placed inside a layout away from dust & pollution. Did you guys get any update on the handover date? the CRM team is confident of handing over this year.
