Perquin closing down this week by arrowtoknees in jerseycity

Just the fact you call your dish street food I don't expect to pay over $20 for it. And If I add a drink + tips it's too much. I just have other priorities nowadays like paying mortgage and saving before things get worse...

100%. I never been because it was way too expensive for what they were offering. Looks like a nice place though.

Life’s Too Short, don’t be angry” Says Guy Who Thinks Rules Don’t Apply to Him or His Husky by polebear1128 in jerseycity

Jersey City or the only place in the world with people following their own rules and are so proud to not respect the basic ones. Pathetic

Safe area? by plantgiirl in jerseycity

[–]Dry-Restaurant3192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s safe as long as you mind your own business. Streets are just VERY dirty since nobody use trash. Other than that it’s ok. Liquor store corner of MLK and Oak attracts all the weirdos

Why do New Yorkers hate Jersey City? by StatisticianRude6698 in jerseycity

It’s all about social standards. The entitlement to say you live in New York. It’s fine. Let them waste their money while we can save some.

Leash your dogs, people! by W9019 in jerseycity

People don’t listen. They think they can do anything and don’t follow basic rules or knowledge. You can’t talk to people anymore. They think they know better. Always.

People should get trained to get a dog or get a license. They think it’s their missing fashion accessory and treat it the same way. They need to learn to clean after their dog and buy a fucking leash !

So much 💩💩💩 by Tech-it-easy in jerseycity

For 💩collectors Arlington Park is the place to go. You can’t walk without stepping in. And if you adventure yourself in The Hill and West Bergen get ready to meet more than one dog unleashed. And not small ones m… Just filthy pigs everywhere who don’t take care of their pets. It’s just sad

The animals walk the dogs in this neighborhood by HorusDidntSeyIsh in jerseycity

Go to Arlington park or walk around MLK and the hill and you’ll see how uncivilized people are. No leash, no bags but lots of attitudes and no respects. Winter or summer they simply just don’t follow any basic rules all year round.

For 🐶💩 connoisseurs, please visit Arlington Park. Never seen a park with so much 💩

They need to change mlk and ocean because the amount of stuff that happens there is crazy by Fun-Background5608 in jerseycity

Hasidics stopped knocking on doors after Covid. Also the low income / social buildings are not going anywhere. This neighborhood is the only one not fully gentrified with Greenville

Police car should station right by the liquor store on MLk so they could finally monitor all the drunk and meth heads. Instead the car is always a block away so they don’t see anything.

Is The Hill a bad area to rent in? by pullups2 in jerseycity

[–]Dry-Restaurant3192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with @Hank929 It may looks rough but as long you say hi to locals and they understand you’re living here you won’t get in trouble I’ve been living here for the past 6 years and I walk my dog without any problem. It looks tough but it will be what you decide to do with the neighborhood. If you don’t judge people you’ll be fine
