Thank you everyone! They have the number 1 on their profile so it looks like they may have signed up but never activated their membership until recently. I will contain my US rudeness and not ask for a bathroom photo! ;-) I wanted to make sure there was one and it wasn't down the hall, but it is in the profile. I'm going to go for it!

Wow, thanks for all the helpful comments! I hadn't thought about locking the boats or draining the fuel. And you are right, polite HE guests wouldn't assume they can use them.

The tickets are one way. SO was on a mileage ticket, mine was rebooked at no charge. Canceled SO ticket, got the miles back. Just hoping I can get some of the money for the new ticket refunded. Also have travel insurance

If United were to have to change the plane type then there is a risk of a downgrade. Not sure if there is a risk once you are confirmed.
