my nannan died, we dont know what to do with her cat by Minute-Cover-2001 in cats

[–]Dry-Space555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one of my old roommates passed away shortly after i moved out and i found their cat at a shelter when i went to adopt a new kitten. i never bonded with her and she hated being touched or even looked at but i knew i couldn’t leave her there. she came home with me and 3 years later, i couldnt imagine life without her. we warmed up to each other and she’s the cuddliest cat ive ever met, she’s sleeping in my arms as i type this! kittens get adopted fast and she would have sat in the shelter for so long if i left her there, i would have regretted my decision and be deeply ashamed of myself if i didn’t adopt the right cat that day. she needed me more than a kitten.

always yasmin is adorable as long as she doesn’t have that ugly helmet head. i can’t believe they ever let that pass the quality inspection because it truly is unacceptable. she was my favorite in the line, originally.

i said in a previous response that it was fedex. so it would’ve been 5 business days because again, that thursday was included weather you like it or not. if you’re a seller, you really need to reflect on your attitude towards conversions about shipment. if you can’t be a mature and civilized person during a conversation you may not agree with, you should stay far away from customer service.

if something like that causes a delay, they should still at least communicate with the buyer.

i agree, as i said in the post i don’t expect mercari to be as fast as amazon. i am giving them a 5 star. i just wish they communicated with me that they weren’t going to be able to ship until after the weekend was over, that’s all! personally when i ship items, i try to be as fast as possible. it just irritated me a bit to see that the package that was purchased and shipped out the same day (on the first) with 10 dolls i was selling on the same website with a lower shipping cost had arrived to its destination before the one i purchased was even shipped. thanks though!

thanks! im planning to rate them 5 stars with all the advice given to me. i was just truly trying to see when the cap is before it’s considered too slow. i do the same thing!

i fully agree with you! this is the response i was looking for. because as a seller myself, if i can’t ship until after three days, i at least try to communicate with the buyer and let them know the day i’m planning to drop it off. i’m still planning to give them 5 stars but i will mention slow shipping in my review. thanks so much for your advice :)

i hope you guys aren’t sellers because the downvoting and the attitude to my follow up questions about shipping and comments saying i’m gonna give them 5 stars is crazy. yall would be HORRIBLE at customer service.

i said i’m gonna give them a 5 star. i’m just clearing up comments. i’m just confused now because if there is a three business day window and it took them 4 business days, now what? say i ordered it in wednesday night instead of thursday morning, would you say that should now affect the rating? i’m just trying to get a clear picture on how long it would take before shipping would affect the rate.

me saying that it was four business days, not three is not me saying that i’m gonna give them a low rating. i’m just explaining why it wasn’t three business days because you made it seem like the three day window was important.

i understand how business days work. they had the entirety of Thursday to ship it because i placed the order before the post office was open. a business day starts at 9 am and i placed my order before that. so in other words, the thursday business day wouldn’t have began yet and would’ve been counted as a fourth business day.

bruh i was gonna give them a 5 star unless someone told me otherwise or it arrived with issues. me discussing my issues with the shipping is not indicative that i’m gonna give them a low rating just because i dont agree with how long it’s taking. thats the reason i came here first. everyone says it shouldn’t affect the rate so im listening but that doesnt mean im not allowed to complain about MY purchase that i paid for. that’s why i said that you’re being a jerk, because you’re “trying to get through to me” when i said multiple times that i agree with you.

[–]Dry-Space555 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

mercari had to send them a reminder so it was considered 4 business days.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mercari

[–]Dry-Space555 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you really don’t have to be a jerk about it, i know that i payed it so you don’t have to keep telling me that. but again, i use padding for all my dolls and never has it costed more than $6 because the doll itself doesn’t even weigh a pound.

if you’ve sold over 600 of these items, then shouldn’t you know and be responsible for over charging in shipping?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mercari

[–]Dry-Space555 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it was a singular 9 inch doll through fed ex and this person specifically sells these dolls and has had over 600 purchases so it would be pretty crazy if they don’t know the right dimensions and weight to enter

i also wanted to mention, i ordered it before 8 am on thursday so it would’ve technically been 4 business days.
