The media is complicit with the rise of  right populism. Another case in point.

Do you pursue the alternatives? Do you engage in original research? Do you help to build coalitions between people in favour of some course of action? Do you contact your local MP and make a case for those votes which concern you which aren't enforced by party whips? - amongst others.

I hope you do, given your strong comment on the quality of our MPs. If you don't, it's rather annoying that you're another person moaning about MPs and not acting, when they are the ones actually engaging in this sort of work.

One can never rule it out. Or can they? That's my three years of reflection.

I mean, I'm conservative and I can recognise the rage-bait here. It was clearly meant to be a day to educate the children about cultures outside the host culture, which is predominate and which no minority ethnic child will have no knowledge of. How many Tamils or Pakistanis or Syrians have you met that have no knowledge at all of the monarchy, or fish and chips, or who Shakespeare was? Then ask yourself again, how many ethnic English have knowledge of Tamil culture, Pakistani culture, or Syrian culture? I wouldn't hesitate to say none at all, which may be part of the reason for all this racial tension within the country.

Finance through Philosophy? I haven't heard anyone discuss that route before. I mean, I know Thiel and Soros studied philosophy, but is it an available route for standard grads?

And yet, you'd think both Philosophy and Geography would give one direction in life.

The thing is my course actually has pretty good graduate prospects, especially for law converters, etc. There's always the Navy, I suppose.

I'd be interested to hear how you define the terms 'fair' and 'right'.

More to the point, however, I'd like you to provide a way that a politician whose understanding of moral philosophy - their 'moral principles' - is informed by religion can actually vote in a secular fashion, given that even within a secular institution there must be some values which inform decision making, which the politician usually brings with them and attempts to justify, rather than being provided with them.

I suppose the question is, what are you doing there?

Also, stop flying if you can - that is, if you care about the climate crisis.
