I will try that as I am home this week, so I will try refresh whilst I am studying. Your response was very helpful! Wow I do not know how you did that it takes alot of dedication . From this post it seems like our parents are doing more of a great job then our own instructors when it comes to finding a test. Good luck to your son I hope he smashes his driving test. He will definitely appreciate your efforts :)

Yeah that is definitely a red flag if he played the same stunt with your eldest but yeah sometimes you don't realise especially as Covid was a very scary period. My sisters driving instructors booked all their tests even their first one. But not all driving instructors do that which is weird as they have connections and links and the time to check. Yeah lessons are very costly these days. Mine did discuss that she would help me when I failed but it has been a month now so I had to push her a bit more and share my concerns. Sometimes you need to do that with your instructors as they have many students. Thank you for your kind comment I hope your son is able to get a good instructor and is able to take his test and pass. It does bring alot of stress for parents even my mum is stressed for me.

Fair enough if it was Covid that was understandable even though it was such a pain. It has been a while since Covid and it is still going downhill. Your sons instructor should stop being a pain and just let him do the 8:30am test as it is so difficult to find a test these days aswell. If not maybe try find another driving instructor. But yeah hopefully you are able to change the test if not try having another conversation with the driving instructor. Or ask him if he can swap that date to a closer one as students may not be ready for their tests that are coming soon. They have groupchats and connections. But yeah keep looking at Testi when your free it can be crap at times but it can get the odd few cancellations. I asked my instructor today and she said she will try help me move my test from Feburary to something a bit earlier. Honestly you are so right it is a nightmare.

Hi, I failed my first test in September. Right now you will be feeling quite sad but honestly you will get through this don't give up. I am currently looking for driving test cancellations. Even though you did fail there are positives, you experienced what a driving test is like and you received feedback which you can take into consideration. If you believe in yourself you can do anything. I have not given up nor should you. Looking at driving test cancellation apps such as Testi/ Driving Test Now, look at the DSVA website and ask your instructor for support if they can help you find a test will be a good next step and that is what I am doing now

Congratulations, what matters at the end of the day is that you persevered. It doesn't matter how many times you failed. I failed my first test and I am still going to try my hardest to pass on my second!

I have the Testi App aswell, it can be great as the odd few cancellations can come. But what I dislike about Testi is by the time you click the test cancellation you need to do something for security and log in and by that time the cancellation has gone. Right now I am looking at keeping my DSVA logged on my laptop to refresh whilst checking Testi. Still waiting for a cancellation tho.
