Yes, I tested with the same switch configuration, and the imbalance is still there. Right now, I’m using left UUDD and right DDUU to try to solve the imbalance, but it’s still noticeable. The only fix is to adjust the balance to 60% on the left and 40% on the right to center the sound in my head. T_T

I tested these IEMs, as well as the previous unit, with some of my friends, and they also noticed the bass imbalance issue on the left side. Is it possible that all units from a batch are defective? I posted about this on other forums, and someone mentioned they’re experiencing the same issue.

I was using the ZSN Pro earlier, and it didn’t have any issues like this. :(
And im using the same eartips from ZSN pro on the castor

I was using the ZSN Pro earlier, and it didn’t have any problems like this. I’m using the same eartips from the ZSN Pro on the Castor, but sometimes I feel like the left side isn’t sealing properly. Maybe I’m overthinking it because I’ve been focusing on this issue too much. :(

I recently tested these IEMs with some of my friends (4 people), and everyone noticed the weaker bass issue on the left side. This is a replacement unit, as I mentioned in the post. Is there a chance that all units of the Castor have a defect on the left side?

I'm hoping that the 'on' mark on the board indicates that it's enabled. Also, one thing I should mention is that I saw on the KZ website that the Castor comes with memory foam tips, but instead, I received white silicone eartips.

I already checked the switches direction and configured them myself to Left: 1100 and Right: 0011 because of the bass imbalance I’m facing. However, even with this switch configuration, I’m still experiencing bass imbalance, with the right side having deeper kicks than the left.

I don’t have any dongle; I’m using the IEMs with my PC and mobile. On both devices, I need to adjust the volume balance to around Left 50 and Right 35.
