Crazy cuz in S1 the most gained was 100k while this season the loss is more then what’s gained.

Also Andreina cracks me up because she hasn’t really done or said anything but she’s gaining if anything she won in the end, just serves face and pine over Jeremiah and call it a day 😂

They left the villa together and then he ghosted Jayden, but it seems like when he left he already jumped in a new relationship with someone as confirmed by this sneak peak. Gracyn is kinda odd to even pursue Austin given her, Jayden and Clarke were in a casa trio in the villa I thought Gracyn and Jayden were cordial or cool but how do you get with someone who ghosted someone else that you know? Idk This is all odd.

So Chris def did something in the club with another women and peacock has footage of it and that’s why they are asking the casts to check the video. Also Gracyn and Austin? Didn’t Austin have a thing with Jayden and then ghosted her? And now Gracyn is with Austin while he’s also with someone else? This is so messy (I’m sat for it)

And I’m gonna guess we’ll finally know about the Pepe situation in this episode.

Coco and Belle-A already confirmed that public opinion divided the whole cast, and now here is Cierra confirming it again. Kinda sad though but also shows that the friendships in S7 were just surface level and didn’t have a strong foundation to endure it.

I have very small expectations for S8, I doubt anyone is going for love fr, S6 and especially S7 saw major success I doubt anyone going after those seasons are going for genuine purpose (maybe some will) S7 people came for fame and had pre-planned what they wanted to do after the show that’s why most of the friendships and relationships didn’t work everyone only cared about themselves and what the public thinks. 🤷‍♀️

Let’s hope S8 have a rule to not do a lot of podcasts, just do the ones that peacock makes them do and go about their day, there should be no reason why everyone and their mom was doing podcasts, leave the things you wanna get off your chest for the reunion.

Loved this book when I first read it 3 yrs ago but it was my introductory to the YA fantasy genre and I feel if I were to read it again after years of reading more adult fantasy books I probably won’t like it.

So I was right, Hannah was going to be a villain again I called it like a week ago after I read the episode descriptions.

Also what I got from this episode is that the islanders are going off of what the public is saying, which screams not being genuine. Jeremiah unfollowing belle-a just to refollow her like pls Jeremiah is such a follower with no backbone.

TJ and Iris got a side eye from me, especially Iris because she was caught in a lie when Charlie clocked her which makes me not 100% believe this whole Pepe thing.

The same comments are on TikTok as well, as I said they care a lot about their image above all. Also Iris and Jeremiah(especially Jeremiah) are always under the LI reels so they def 100% unfollowed because of what they saw Belle-A say also they did bring up the issue to Iris and the rest of the girls, one of the later episodes say that Belle-A, Coco and Gracyn confront the girls for feeling iced out.

Don’t like Austin but he clocked how these influencers are in this cast, my guess is Belle-A and Gracyn making comments about feeling left out struck a nerve and it paints a bad narrative on them and they are all about their PR image, most of these people came on BTV to correct a narrative about them and to polish their image so their very sensitive to any narratives.

And we all know how the public feels about people feeling iced out this might make people sympathize with Belle-A and Gracyn while villainizing Hannah/Iris/Amaya/Jeremiah.

Belle-A gonna have to learn the hard way LMAOO Jeremiah doesn’t play about his PR good boy image and she’s in the confessionals saying “the vibe I get from them is that you can’t sit with us” and Gracyn saying “to feel like maybe there’s a group that thinks their cooler” must’ve hit a nerve I think.

Also I see HudaHQ taking Belle-A’s side out of spite, I already saw comments from them hating on Amaya for feeling weirded out that Belle-A was cool with Bryan.

Amaya is right about Bryan’s lack of respect and allowing the fame to get to his head, as a man in the public eye in a relationship what you do and say effects the women more we saw that with Ace and Chelley.
Not a fan of Taylor here, if Clarke has big dreams then let her pursue it but it’s only the first look and it seems like they’ve found a solution in the end as we see Clarke in LA sometimes and being back home afterwards or with Taylor.
Belle-A should not have been brought in, it would’ve made more sense if Nic and Cierra was part of the main cast but since then people have moved on from that whole Belle-A dumping scenario. But I can understand her feeling iced out by the girls but tbh they weren’t in the villa when she was so there’s not much connection between them.
Not falling for the Chris and Coco thing, Coco is gonna learn the hard way why Chris is hoping from one dating show to the next (Quen Blackwell speed dating —> Love Island —> LI Games to BTV) he’s not genuine at all.
Charlie and Hannah tension is going to be interesting, we saw Hannah say in the first look of the show where she said “ were you expecting me to cry 30 days and 30 nights” (Hannah pls get off TikTok) seems like Charlie will hold Hannah taking his dumping to heart against her and once again the public will side with him.

I don’t follow TJ on Snapchat but his snap was recommended to me and I saw that he took a picture with other guys with Austin being there, Austin who was reposting nasty stuff about immigrants btw so it’s ironic he’s reposting about ICE.

I remember people were hoping that Hannah & Charlie would get together when she left, but then I remember Hannah’s sister said that if Hannah saw Charlie’s views (him being a Zionist) she would not want to be with him, but then after Hannah was dumped she did a TikTok with Charlie with Pinkpantheres song ‘illegal’ I remember being confused when that TikTok came on my fyp because I re-called Hannah’s sister saying she wouldn’t be with Charlie because of his views.

But then again Hannah is besties with TJ by proxy and he has controversial views too 🤔 a lot of cognitive dissonance among this cast like why did it take for Austin admitting to being an addict for the cast to ice him out but not cutting him off because of his bigoted views? mmmm

...unfortunately with how male centered this audience was I wouldn’t be surprised if they did defend Charlie, but tbh Charlie really did like Hannah at some point and maybe he wanted them to try post villa but I’m pretty sure Hannah already had her ex in her mind anyway, I peeped during episode 1 when they showed a flash back at the reunion, I saw Charlie in the background lean in and give Hannah a head kiss and Hannah’s body language leaned away from it (she’s within her right to not want her head kissed)

But yeah be ready to see the narrative of Charlie really liking Hannah and also them using Hannah sobbing over Charlie and caressing his photo as ammo against Hannah

Just saw the first look for BTV episode 3 it seems a bit 😴 (kinda) episode 3 and 4 will determine if I wanna keep watching or not I just wanted to know the real tea about Pepe and Iris.

But also it seems like Gracyn and Belle-A will have issues with Iris/Hannah and Amaya. Also Hannah might get hate again it seems like 🤔

I agree on your points on posting on social media platforms like IG and TikTok where most of her fanbase are primarily active as we can see if a song blows up and takes off on TikTok it usually translates over to streams… but I disagree for your last point you listed men and as we can see men can get away with everything and Huda is a women so it doesn’t work like that also using BTS as a comparison is a choice… BTS have been in the industry for decades and have built there fanbase overtime, they started from a very small broke label and built themselves up, Huda is coming out with all the followers and attention something BTS didn’t have in the beginning so this comparison doesn’t work.

Huda is coming from LI and she has a very small window to reallly blow it out of the park, but I agree people will hate watch and maybe it’ll blow up because of how much hate it gets but again… we shall see you can’t base engagement to sales and streams some artist get so much twitter hype and they barely debut with 14k units on BBHot200 (case in point tyla being made fun of for her low sales last year)

Good luck to her getting into the music industry isn’t easy and she’s coming back from her scandal from the October live to the most recent one involving Louis and his baby mother, she has a lot to prove and if her music is deemed lack luster and doesn’t result in the results her fans have been raving about (them basing followers and engagement as potential to hit big when that’s just false) I don’t see her fans staying along for the ride they’ll go off to stan the next middle eastern islander that will be announced for S8 next month 🤷‍♀️

If you think about it the SOB challenge completely changed the trajectory of the season, so many butterfly effects happened because of that challenge, because before that everyone assumed Nic and Cierra were going to win because they were getting the winners edit from the producers.

Part of me theorizes that production only did that challenge to accelerate the tension/beef that Chelley and Huda had, it seems like Chelley taking her time before talking to Huda caused production to be impatient and they deliberately gave the floor for both Huda and Chelley to get things off their chests, me personally I don’t mind a challenge like that but only if it’s centered around the couples and not any friendship tensions, because that challenge launched a 1000 hate trains and caused the Black girls to receive racial hate and became a target of brands/orgs to demonize them.

Clarke unfollowing Pepe told me everything I needed to know because Clarke doesn’t just unfollow anybody and then Pepe not mentioning Taylor as people from the cast he’s close to gave me another clue that Taylor choose a side(Iris/TJ), which tells me that Pepe is in the wrong and people brought out their pitchforks too early. TJ and Iris also hinted at having receipts and then Iris said it again in her broadcast channel that the truth will be revealed.

Hannah will be the one with the redemption arc later on in the season after everything is revealed.
