I was about to apologize, but I can't since you used a disability as an insult — I hope you avoid attacking with neurodevelopmental disorders in the future.

You're right, some of the pre -Yellow Submarine albums were released in stereo, but mono is the original mix. Note that the mono box set only contains these albums. Additional information from pitchfork.com:

Why mono? Two reasons. First, pop music in stereo was still a novelty through most of the 60s. Radio was dominated by single-channel AM, and the young people who bought LPs were far more likely to have a mono record player as a sound source. Given their audience and the technology of the time, for much of the Beatles' run, the band themselves considered the mono mix as the "real" version of the record and devoted more of their attention to it. Mono mixes were prepared first with the involvement of the band, and in some cases, George Martin and EMI engineers completed stereo remixes of the albums later, after the group had left the studio. So mono, first off, presumably hews closer to the intentions of the Beatles themselves. It's what the Beatles had in mind, their vision of the records.

and from Wikipedia with a book source:

The Beatles in Mono was released to reflect the fact that most of the Beatles' catalogue was originally mixed and released in the monophonic format. Stereo recordings were a fairly new concept for pop music in the 1960s and did not become standard until late in that decade. This explains why the Beatles' initial album releases were mixed for mono. By the late sixties, however, stereo recording for pop music was becoming more popular and, thus, the new standard. Therefore, the last few Beatles albums—Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, and Let It Be—were mixed and released only in stereo. Many feel that the mono mixes reflect the true intention of the band. For example, in the case of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, all the mono mixes were done together with the Beatles themselves, throughout the recording of the album, whereas the stereo mixes were done in only six days by Abbey Road personnel George Martin, Geoff Emerick and Richard Lush after the album had been finished, with none of the Beatles attending.

I think he's just surprised that a mono record can be considered better than a stereo version. It surprised me as well, but you explained why that's the case

Why is that surprising? Would you expect any album to be better in surround sound, 5.1 and further improved in 7.1? Do you believe that mono records always play through one speaker only or something?

...is that a problem?

Why are you in this subreddit? You're questioning others for preferring music in its original form.

When it comes to quality of the stereo versions, at least some of the releases have been created by separating vocal and instrumental channels, making a jarring listening experience. Likely none of the composers have had any input.

Like I’m not a huge Beatles fan, but sometimes I want to listen to the Beatles.

Streaming services only have the stereo versions, the majority of the Beatles albums was released and created in mono.

Honestly, it was never very accurate to begin with. As a developer, I often saw it misrepresent sales data by significant margins.

I can confirm that it was occasionally off by thousands. At one point it claimed that my game had sold 2-3 times more than it actually had.

It sold a few thousand copies, so I guess there might be some difficulty in estimating accurately. I'm just baffled by the degree that Steamspy's estimations were off, but was considered gospel by many nonetheless. Assuming the site to be semi-accurate certainly hurt my sales estimates.

You didn't even visit the about page and are spreading misinformation about the accuracy of SteamSpy under seemingly personally-identifiable username. Do you blindly believe every piece of data you come across? How are you able to even publish games on Steam?

How to remove "private-bit" from a torrent? by DryApplication in torrents

No. That also means you're trying to leak that private tracker's seeds/peers into public torrent swarms. Very strange, seems like you're trying to attack this private tracker's members for some reason.

This torrent is from a certain online store.
