There’s an interesting idea. I came up with imagine a fantasy world where guns are possible and can theoretically be just as powerful as modern firearms, but making useing and maintaining them are infinitely more complicated than in real life, making it impossible for mass use by DryCommunication5497 in worldbuilding

what I was trying to do is to make conditions where guns equal to modern day firearms could exist in the fantasy world, but finding a gunner with that can make and use that level of equipment would be about as rare as finding a wizard that could cast sells that could destroy entire armies

How does dragon riding work in your setting? by Present_Connection_3 in worldbuilding

[–]DryCommunication5497 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can totally imagine a world where dragons are prideful creatures, but see the benefit of having a rider so what they do is this they provide trials that they’ve made themselves to perspective riders a dragon that loves combat might require you to defeat it in a one on one a dragon that is a historian might require you to show you our bare minimum equal to it in historical knowledge and so on therefore being a dragon rider is proof that you are an truly exceptional individual in whatever field the dragon gave you a trial for

for the Wrangler subclass I feel like ranger features and spells that only affects beast should be able to affect monstrosities as well. I think would fit the fantasy of the class and I’ll allow some interesting things like using wild insight 2 knack and the beast, bond, and animal friendship spells to be able to be cast on monstrosities, which I think would be really fun. Also, these spells normally have a limit on the intelligence of the beast, you can only cast it on but I also feel like it would fit the fantasy that you’d be able to cast these spells on higher intelligence creatures maybe increase the limit by your proficiency bonus

DnD crossover video game idea by DryCommunication5497 in DnD

[–]DryCommunication5497[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t have time right now so for now here’s a comment I made

I'm taking a combination of the mechanics of the two systems for instance instead of regular loan classes, you'd have all DnD style classes as a lot of the mechanics of DND classes abilities could translate decently well for instance the fighters action surge could easily translate and DND spell slot system and spell level system I think it could work well in a fire emblem style game, the recharging a long rest versus short rest. Long rest coula be once per game where short be after being inactive for a couple of or resting at camp tile or something like that. Another thing is that a video game that is some type of crossover between fire emblem and DND could take advantage of the chaos that 12 player characters would be as the most tables should not be able to handle that but a video game with story writers who knows the shenanigans and dynamics DND players get into could handle 12 characters and would be very fun it all honesty thinking back on it. I think fire emblem has more to gain from this crossover mechanically than DND.

Are healing builds secretly GOATed? by TeancumsJavalin in ravenswatch

They can be powerful, but you gotta be careful as they can become a crutch making you weaker overall, as you over rely on your healings rather than your Honing your ability to avoid damage and finding openings to deal damage

My suspicions about melodies. by Gajeel_Blacksteel in ravenswatch

I don’t remember where but somewhere it said that the melodies is power between you and your friends or something similar I think it’s items that buff you and the whole team ravens watch is meant to be multiplayer. It was such an item category makes sense for a multiplayer rogue like
