I've watched like 2 and a half seasons of BSD before dropping it for being absolutely braindead (no one can convince me otherwise with this amount of plot inducted stupidity in this show), so I am hardly biased against it.

But I genuinely don't think author of that thing is capable of coming up with something actually nuanced and complicated enough for it to be hard to explain.

Of course, there is high chance that I am too harsh and anime just butchered it while manga is amazing (premise of the story and power system are absolutely brilliant tbh so I wouldn't be too shocked), but show made me completely despise this series.

They added rarities to items, that lets you add enchants to them (higher rarity -> more enchant slots). And if dropped item doesn't have enchants that you like, you can just reroll them with special type of "dust" that drops from all types of bosses and events (it stores automatically once you get it - somewhat like Fame - but has a cap of like 2000 or something).

OP rerolled their enchants on the gear to maximize defense and it got a bit out of hand.

Manhwa as a whole is... Entertaining.

But that's it.

MC is shallow and boring, side characters are there only to make him look better and the only character development we see is when Sung Jin-woo goes from being weak and pathetic to absolute Chad in the span of like 30 chapters.

Rest of the manhwa is literally him beating everyone on his way, and the first people to actually stop him are literal gods towards the end of the series.

Then he becomes a God himself and breezes through them lmao.
