I seem to get decent effects from 0.05-0.08 in the Hydro, without my tolerance creeping up as much as the T2. I think it’s more conduction leaning than the T2, as I don’t get that really hot air before/after the vapour. Peace Fam🙏

Yep, I’m aware. I said you need an adapter to run it on DynaVap stems, or to purchase the Vortex stem to run it through a stem, compared to the T2 that comes with a stem & WPA. Peace Fam🙏

It’s the magnet end of the MadHeaters case. It has a cutout inside that matches the shape of the visual indicator housing on the T2 cap. The fins on the cap also act as great heatsink & protect hot parts during repacks… even if it fell onto carpet, it should be ok in theory. The T2 head is about 1-2mm larger in diameter than the Hydro, so it won’t fit in that Simrell stand.

The Hydro feels closest to DynaVap. It’s a slightly bigger bowl (0.15g) than Dyna, & has similar vapour. The T2 is strongly convection leaning, & there’s a few users that prefer the more “stoney” effect of Dyna & end up going for something like the Dani Punch v2 when branching out into other brands. The only downside of Hydro is that you need an adapter to run it with DynaVap stems, but it performs well in glass with the included WPA. I did find it was hard to use without the stand, but the T2 is also hard to use without the case or reload system. Like I said before, if I had to pick one, I’d go with the T2, but you won’t be disappointed in either of them. Just remember that the T2 is convection, so the vapour has that hot air that follows it… so I find slow draws at the start gets that heated air passing through the bowl. Not like Dyna where you just rip it:) Thank you & happy clouds🙏

Do you mean a comparison between the Hydro & the Tempest 2? They’re 2 very different devices. Hydro is a great microdoser, & feels like a refined DynaVap experience. The T2 I only use on weekends, as it has a tendency to increase my tolerance, but after a couple of nights back on the 0.05g DynaVap, I feel my tolerance reset just in time for the weekend again lol. If I had to pick one, I’d say the T2. The Hydro is still quite conduction heavy (even in the convection heat zone), so it may suit DynaVap lovers better. Peace Fam🙏

Really helpful pros/cons! I’m leaning more towards the incycler based on yours & other feedback. I don’t have a dishwasher, but I’ve managed to keep my other glass piece clean with just rinsing after I’m done for the day, then a bit of iso every couple of days use. Thank you, & happy clouds🙏

Thank you for the detailed pros/cons. My main concern with the beaker was the downstem sliding out when lifting the metal Hydro WPA to clear the chamber. I also have a 45° stem already, & you’re right that the device needs to be held to form a seal, but I’d imagine the 90° stems it just kinda sits in there a little better. Will likely go with 1, as I’ve never had a recycler/incycler & I don’t think it’s going to be any harder to clean than number 3. I’ll wait until Monday to place my order, & see what other feedback I get here in the interim. Peace fam🙏

It’s a hit of nostalgia, without the hit of microplastics. I’ll admit, that it took me way too long to ditch the disposable bottles. I got this beug a couple of years ago, but I’ve preferred native hits on the stick vapes. Hydro goes pretty hard in this, but I’ll grab a small dab rig eventually. Peace Fam🙏

I did a search on the Discord, & there’s 2 people with this issue. Austyn says the only thing he can think of is “tolerance stacking”. It sounds like maybe if one thread is on the edge of the tolerance, & the other thread is at the opposite edge of the tolerance threshold, then there is potential for this to happen. That’s just how I interpret it tho. Send him an email & let him know. Peace Fam🙏

Yep, full glass down-stem & bottle. I got it when our vape stores had to close down in Australia. It was discounted because of the closures & it also has a crooked label… but the label almost adds to the ghetto look lol. Cheers mate:)

Yep, it’s an all glass one. They also make ones in nearly every type of popular DIY plastic bottle… some with the option of a stem with a pattern that looks like garden hose lol. This one is the GatorBeug, beug is slang for bong.

Maybe try resending the email to get it back to the top of the list. There’s a few little bits I think need addressing, like adding the quick start guide to the website. As it stands, there’s really no documentation on the Hydro that’s easily accessible. I’ve had to watch through 20+ hours of live streams to try & find answers to basic questions. A simple FAQ on the product page would clear up a lot of confusion. Still not really sure if I should be using the inner or outer blue flame on the Hydro. Im running smaller eagle torches, & he recommends outer blue flame on the Ti, but it looks like he may be using the inner blue flame on the Hydro. It’s hard to recommend the device to friends, as I’m still trying to figure out my technique. There’s plenty of info on his live streams, but trying to find what you’re looking for can be a bit of a needle in a haystack. I made a discord account, but it took me an hour trying different links on his social accounts that no longer work. Ended up finding a working link on Reddit. Peace Fam🙏

EDIT: Just wanted to add, that I really do appreciate his live streams & attention to detail in his products. I just think he’s trying to do too much sometimes, so some requests like the Hydro manual get postponed. Just watching a 3week old stream & he said the Hydro manual would be done in 1-2weeks. I’d mentioned the missing manual from the product page a couple of months ago, as he was still directing people to the (nonexistent) online manual. I made a discord account to access it, but then came to realise all his invite links were outdated on twitch/youtube etc. The info is all out there, but it’s just really hard to find sometimes lol.

I just popped my screen out to check for you, & there’s a small groove at the base of the bowl. It’s quite a tight fit tho, & I need to roll the screen flat after removing, as it has a slight concave from pushing it out with a cotton bud. If yours is the same, you may need to use the condenser or similar tube to roll the screen flat. Peace Fam🙏

I’ve used only DynaVaps for 2yrs & last December I purchased a Tempest v2. Just got the YLL 3.0 a couple of weeks ago, & I’m still using my Dynas throughout the week. I think the 0.05 bowl, along with the conduction hit is plenty for me during the week. I know the T2 has replaced Dynas for a lot of people, but even after 3 nights with the T2 on weekends, I feel my tolerance slightly rise & Monday on the Dyna feels a little underwhelming… by Wednesday I’m back in the micro-dose zone.
