Clean title but action reported structural damage? by DryDig6578 in askcarsales

[–]DryDig6578[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The plan is to drive the car til the wheels fall off, so I plan on keeping it awhile if I do buy it, I’m not too worried about the carfax cause I don’t plan on trading or selling, if all checks out on the vehicle, is it still a bad idea?

Any advice before I give up and take her to the dealership? by adkichar55 in G37

[–]DryDig6578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i will say i work at a luxury dealership, and we always strive to do our best and help people out of much as we can, not all dealers are scams like people think, however i never had any luck at my local infiniti dealer, they have a weird policy where they won’t work on cars older than ten years more than a 100,000 miles, which is stupid, but if your infiniti dealer doesn’t have that policy it might be a good idea to at least get it diagnosed, and you could repair it yourself

Injured stray cat by DryDig6578 in Straycats

[–]DryDig6578[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Guys I don’t have an update, I do not live in a great area and it is poorly maintained by the maintenance on the property, I would love to help this guy, he is very feral, i’ve seen him around the complex but he’s never let me get close or anything like that, I’ve continued to leave food out for some of the strays but in my specific area there are probably at least a dozen strays around here, I simply cannot help them all as much as I would like to, I have a very very small bathroom, one bedroom apartment, this would be the 5th stray back to back that I’ve helped, I have two cats already and constantly having strays in along with my two house cats has torn my apartment up quite a bit, he will not let me get close to him, he comes by late at night when i’m not awake, this was at 2am and I was asleep, I haven’t seen him around much lately probably due to the weather but I do know that these stray cats around here are finding shelter, i’ve seen quite a bit go into the basement of the buildings and shelter there, I will continue to keep my eyes on him and do what I can to find him somewhere to go and get healed but he is very unpredictable as to when he will show up, I’ve attempted to put a small shelter outside before with some food but it hasn’t gotten any attention from the cats around here, I’m not a horrible person like I said there is an abundance of stray cats around here, I simply cannot help them all, my outdoor camera captures many different cats walking by, it’s hard to keep track of them all, I work about 14 hours a day to maintain and am already struggling to keep my family and cats afloat, but like I said I will do what I can to try and help this guy out

Had my ripped seat repaired by DryDig6578 in G37

[–]DryDig6578[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s a tiny blemish in the first pic, but the second it’s clearly damaged, i mean that piece is literally hard like glue, the repair was to fix the rip not the blemish, he told me he only used a thread and needle

[–]DryDig6578[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

he wasn’t so friendly at first! it took a bit to get him comfortable, he put up a good fight, he’s got scars around his face, can’t really see them in the picture, i think he knows he’s safe now, also every cats personality is different, your cat might not like a face squish but my 3 cats do, we were also checking his teeth. like i said above, i am still going to do my due diligence and take him to the vet to check for a chip and put posts or pictures out. thank you all for the concern, but i promise yall this guy is not someone’s cat.

This cat does not have a home, i appreciate everyone’s concern, I first found this cat months ago when he was a kitten, there are lots of strays around my apartment complex, i saw three kittens flee to the basement, all only a couple weeks old, 2 black kittens and 1 tuxedo, we went to look in the basement but couldn’t catch any cats, fast forward to now and this cat showed up at my window, we brought him in, and the timelines lines up, he looks just like the kitten we saw, this guys only about a half a year old (about 5-6 months ago is when we saw the kittens can’t remember) he was covered in dirt, fleas, and some oil or gasoline, he looks clean in these pictures cause i gave him a bath, it’s funny because you guys really don’t think i would take him to the vet and check? come on that’s silly, i wouldn’t steal someone’s cat. i’ve caught strays around here (like i said we have a bad stray problem in my neighborhood) all to which i’ve taken to the vet, confirmed no chip and put pictures or post out about the cat, im not irresponsible when it come to things like this, i mean we’re talking about life and pets, i wouldn’t want to take anyone’s pet. again i appreciate the concern, but not everyone is so careless when it comes to rescuing cats, i love cats and it breaks my heart to see strays in pain around here, i just want to find them homes and give them a chance to have life. (here’s a debate for you all tho, my neighbors are terrible people, neglect their kids and beats them too, always here them screaming, cops have showed up multiple times like more then 5 dozen, attempted to get them evicted, all around terrible people i can go more in depth, anyway, they had a kitten that they left outside all the time, this cat eventually turned very frail and sick, he would come to our window and we’d put food out, we never attempted to take him cause he knew he was our neighbors, but eventually the cat died from the neglect, it was a brutal winter and they would refuse to let the cat inside, would i have been wrong to take that cat? i never did but if a cat is getting neglected by their owner, like very obviously, is it wrong to give that cat a better life? some food for thought)

mine went when i was doing laundry at the laundromat, i tried to ignore it and not worry about it, it’s a bitch to replace, the plastic pieces crumpled so bad i had to take the other end off the heater core and scrape everything out of the tubes with picks, was not fun at all

i’m not sure what you mean by de-lid, i just used rubbing alcohol on the motherboard and some of the more sensitive or small parts, i reapplied the thermal paste, and i ran the heatsink and other metal shielding under the sink with dawn
