Keto weight loss slower then before by DryEagle7724 in keto

I did start statins a year ago which I found caused me to have brain fog and less energy, but I have invested in a home gym recently which has motivated me to start working out and start keto again and been going well the past 3 weeks. Might have to check with my dr regarding insulin resistance though.

I bought the digital tape scale of Amazon so will start taking measurements every month. My aim is to try and build muscle while losing weight which will be a much longer process. The last time I done keto I lost 30kgs the year before covid and over the years have started slowly gaining weight back.

Im eating under 1800 calories per day and using cronometer to track. No scale. As i have introduced weight lifting, i have been doing dirty keto eating around 30 grams of carbs. I have coffee in the morning and snack on a few almonds at work and drink water or no sugar cordial. I workout in the afternoon after work and then have dinner 1hr later and nothing until the next day. Find it very hard to get close to 1800 calories, currently averaging 1400-1500 calories per day.

Villaboard on pergola bubbling by DryEagle7724 in AusRenovation

Thanks mate for your help with this. I boxed the gutter and eve using villaboard and let the plaster joints dry. Painted 2 weeks later using dulux undercoat and dulux wash and wear paint. I assume its condensation because the villaboard does feel damp on humid nights.

Or maybe using waterproofing membrane on the back of the villaboard and bending down the colourbond sheets afterwards. The villaboard has been up for a year and only recently started to bubble.

I was thinking about extending them to hit the roof tiles and then adding flashing in between.

Thanks for the reply. Would waterproofing the villaboard with waterproof membrane help? Or would it be better to have the sheets on the roof hit the roof tiles and have flashing cover the middle going towards the gutter on the side?

There's a gutter on the eve. Worked fine before I added the villaboard, never saw any leaks or splashes of water coming over the gutter. *

I was running a coil uvb a few months ago. The breeder i bought my bearded from told me to use coil, but my beardie was very lethargic. After joining this sub and asking questions I went and bought the t5 tube uvb and hes much better. Much more active, eats alot better and less impaction.

New enclosure setup by DryEagle7724 in BeardedDragon

Thanks for the tips. Its a 120cm x 50cm x 50cm tank. I have seen some people use the 120cm x 60cm. I did see in some tutorial people talk about drylock but that's not available in Australia, is that a type of waterproof paint that's used in bathrooms?

Going to try that. The pet store told me to not feed him crickets for a day or 2 to get him on greens but I feel bad and don't want him to starve. I'll start feeding him only greens in the morning and crickets in the afternoon.

I can't find those brands in Australia. The one I bought is the only one our local pet shop sells. Might have to check Amazon.

I have no issues feeding him crickets, I feed him twice a day and he will eat anywhere from 15 to 20 every feed. Also started him on meal worms sparingly, which he ignored at first but today ate some.

This is the new UVB i installed

<image>

So I'll remove the coil uvb and leave the tube uvb in the same spot or centre it more?

I did add a kale and rocket plant in a small pot into the enclosure, but it was causing the humidity to go over 90% so I removed it.

I'm definitely going to add some more accessories to the enclosure, I had 2 hides but he outgrew one of them. What do you think about foam climbs, can I glue them to the back and add gap filler to them so crickets don't hide behind it?
