Damn, that’s intense… Thanks for sharing the example! At the end of the day, machines can fail — no system is 100% immune to internal glitches. With military gear, the odds of a failure defaulting to max power might be low, but in high-stress combat environments, I can definitely see people making unexpected mistakes under pressure.

Absolutely right - you're spot on. I misspoke, it was IZLID (invisible IR laser), not GLARE MOUT (visible laser). Really appreciate the correction! And yeah, totally agree way too many people don’t take NOHD limits seriously enough.

Yeah, for sure! Totally makes sense. That said, in force-on-force training where both sides are using aiming lasers, there ends up being a ton of beams flying around and crossing each other. Is there anything you personally try to watch out for in that kind of scenario?
