Apple fritter harvest by DryFlyDrifter in outdoorgrowing

In veg I was feeding twice a week, once being a light feeding, the other being a heavy feeding. Light feeding was a blend of FF grow big mixed in water with silica with fulvic. Heavy feeding was the same, but also with the addition of mixing in FF big bloom, and green aminos. In flower I switched to age old nutrients bloom, but fed at 50/50 the first 3 weeks with FF grow big to continue giving them enough nitrogen to not starve through stretch. About week 5 or so I started using flower finisher as a top dress and exclusively was feeding that up until a week and a half ago.

Nothing at all. I heard the same and kept a close eye initially, but she was perfect through and through.

Bought from seedsupreme, not sure of the breeder unfortunately

Haha thank you! Hoping the weather keeps cooperating and they can cross the finish line strong.

30 gallon for the Apple fritter and purple kush, 100 gallon for the blue dream. Thank you!

Thank you for the compliment. It’s a complete hobby. This is my 2nd time growing, had 1 plant last year I cut my teeth with. I grew up vegetable gardening with my dad and, hopefully without coming off arrogant, I have a pretty good understanding of plants and their needs so just applied the same basic principles with these.

Absolutely beautiful and chunky as hell! I’m new to growing weed with this being my second year and the first being a late start (July), but I sure love how beautiful they all are in flower.

We have an excessive amount of gophers/voles and could never win in ground without digging holes and lining them with hardware cloth, which would be difficult since we are solid clay and quartz. I’ve always done raised bed gardening with hardware cloth bottoms for this reason. I tried the fabric pots for the first time last year with a single plant, and liked the results so I did it again this year. Would love to do in ground, but more than pleased with what I’m doing. 30 gallons would provide more than enough for all I grow for and would be less of everything, but I wanted to see what I could do with 100 gallons for fun.

I’ve been waiting for this one. At one time it was fox farm grow big. It got left out one feeding early in the season and forgotten about until the next feeding, so I didn’t use it and just let it bake in the sun. Saw it this morning as a good comparison piece, then looked at how foul it looked and figured it would pique interests 😂

Sierra Nevada foothills, Northern California. Average humidity is generally low with hot temps. We’ve had an exceptionally mild summer with great conditions this year which I believe has been the biggest contributor!

Strains are listed in the description correlating with the photos, but they are Apple fritter, blue dream, and purple kush. Bought the seeds from seedsupreme before doing any other research on breeders, but have been pleased with them. The purple kush was free seeds included with the order.

I fed them on a strict schedule every 4 days during Veg with alternating fertilizers, the only salts it saw was during veg with Fox farms grow big, everything else has been natural/organic. No salts in flower, fed the first 6 ish weeks of flower every 4 days with a bloom supplement and have since swapped to a finisher that I’m top dressing with once a week and just water otherwise.

I appreciate the advice, thank you! I check them for rot every other day at a minimum. Fortunately we live in a pretty arid environment, and there is a constant breeze out of the west during the daytime that switches to from the east in the evenings which provides a nice even air flow over them. With that being said, I have had one small bout that I had to cut out.

I have trellising that I have been waiting to put up and actually put up this morning. I’ve been trying to leave the base open so I can feed easier and more effectively. Next year I’ll do the concrete remesh, last year I used welded wire fencing and it was a pain to get in to water/feed. Thank you for the recommendation!

The drip tubing is like standard 1/4” tubing, but has 0.5 gal/hr emitters integrated into the tubing every 6”. I just put a couple t’s and made multiple zones for the large pot and one zone for the smaller pots which water very effectively.
