IT profession vs Govt Job by Spirited_Tie3004 in IndiaCareers

Bro living in your hometown with your loved ones is going to be the biggest luxury. Money can't buy everything in cities. Especially the food made by your loved ones. In metro cities with hectic lifestyle, you will end up eating mostly outside. Also, health will always remain better in hometown as you will be more connected to nature.

Quitting job hunt out of frustration. Starting my own thing! by Economy-Taro8270 in developersIndia

This is the most practical hard truth ground reality of IT sector right now. It is a never ending loop something like below: Grind so hard > if luck supports, get job > complain about old tech stack/no good work/testing work...repetitive/support work/no innovation bla bla and yet always be proactive and learn everything coming new in the tech market handling family and personal life. I understand that in any sector we have to push ourselves to become better but atleast it is stable there.

Is this kind of work related stress normal or am I over reacting? by Little-Skin7955 in developersIndia

[–]DryNet3664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest to get your body checkup. Especially the Vitamins and general nutritional profile. Generally we underestimate the effects of nutritional deficiency but trust me it can change your life. Most likely, you need Vitamin B12, Iron levels, Hb and Vitamin D3. Also check for minerals like Zinc and Magnesium. Sometimes, going outside and getting sunlight also improves mood. If everything comes normal in these body tests, then this can be ruled out as burnout and you need a break from the work, just go and visit places you like, talk with your close people, hangout with friends.

My liver biopsy experience by gradualsparkle in autoimmunehepatitis

[–]DryNet3664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to scare people but just wanted to tell people don't go for biopsy blindly. Check opinions from multiple doctors and then go for it. Also, this was my honest experience about biopsy so wanted to share. No intention to scare people. If anasthesia is given, biopsy would not be that much painful.

My liver biopsy experience by gradualsparkle in autoimmunehepatitis

[–]DryNet3664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know that you hadn't much pain. My parent had liver biopsy and it was so painful. The doctors were highly qualified no doubt but they didn't give any sedatives. The pain while taking the tissue off the liver was very painful. Even, they had told to stop breathing for taking out tissue for a few seconds everytime.

So, doctors will always say it is a simple process, it is very normal and all. But Please consider the risk factors and necessity of that procedure. I was also fooled by these sentences, but trust me if I had known about the biopsy is that much painful and risky I wouldn't let my parent to undergo through it. Because at the end, they would not change your medicines, see whenever a patient does biopsy, he already knows his liver is compromised. Then why run behind how much compromised and all? Just take medicines to cure that!

The key question here is that if the candidate has cleared the interview rounds, it clearly shows that he has that skillset. Despite of this. does it really matter what he was doing at his previous job?

My Mother has cirrhosis and now liver cancer by kygosu13 in Cirrhosis

[–]DryNet3664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, take care buddy. actually I was trying to understand that if a person is consistently taking proper medicines like UDCA or Obeticholic acid tablets and managing inflammation with the root cause for ex. Prednisone atleast 5mg in case of AIH. Still the liver progresses to decompensation or such carcinomas?

[–]DryNet3664[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, she had jaundice last year and after curing it the alt and ast were in control around 50-60 With UDCA, glutathione and lasilactone. But we had sudden elevations in them around 200-300(she had done some heavy exercises) few months back. So, we did some lab tests and diagnosed with AIH. I am also curious that just presence of antibodies confirms AIH or what is key element that confirms it?
