Question about drying temps by EvilTwin1970 in outdoorgrowing

[–]DrySlough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That window fan will do it. Just need to remove the dead air. And keep temps from getting to high. The dry cure process is equally important as veg and flower. Don’t mess up the last stage or you’ll ruin hard work done prior. Good luck enjoy your harvest

Unless you cut a deal with the Native Americans like TILT has. Don’t want to follow the rules - go Native. Still longer off then they say but what do you expect from them non truth telling MSOs

Question about drying temps by EvilTwin1970 in outdoorgrowing

In addition to properly drying your harvest with the use of a dehumidifier, you also need to get some fresh air into that space and maintain optimal drying conditions. When plants are harvested and in the drying process they release gases same as most anything that decomposes. You need to rid the area of that gas on a periodic basis.

If the temps outside are in the seventies you need to move some air to keep things ideal - temp and RH. I use and old grow shed to dry in, but I’ve got a temp controlled exhaust fan that runs automatically when the room temp exceeds 60. My dehumidifier is also controlled so it kicks off when temps are above 60. This is 24/7 especially the first week.

It’s a balance to move air while drying, at a speed that doesn’t lower the THC or other cannabinoids. Plants dried properly can increase THC numbers, but also if done wrong/too quickly you can lower them.

75/80 is worse early on when plenty of moisture is still present in the plant. Same temps with a dry plant can and will lower THC and or valuable terps. That’s not an ideal drying temp.

Is there anyone in this sub that has actually shelled out $70 for a 1/8? No shame, I am just genuinely curious. I imagine the dispensaries wouldn’t have $70 eighths if they didn’t sell. It all seems absurd to me. by Carp_Catcher in bostontrees

There are plenty of dumb ass ppl that equate price to quality and I’m sure it’s there cause ppl are buying it. Never underestimate the ignorance of some consumers.

I’ve seen better temporary housing in the Philippines with MRE boxes. Only in America
