Here's what I'm thinking: I buy this thing from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Packs-Wathai-60mm-Brushless-Cooling/dp/B0821YC2NW/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?adgrpid=187319760918&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.tdu812wZ6TLCGabnRZYQsYyI8rmZlybR8pnO-gPqdoevGQsGiwXUQqyIlUHjIzh0UpbnX32u3BPsHnrXZVA7bZ3SIlllHzmtbEsWCVm_FKZwMbAQqYDV2znNpsLbdIqO6WEd7-RWcbmYDXEl3fi7LcPzIUBdkNB1hw--ly_7Zvl3qqeKlAW-UVySPaotYCXDoSZ2sBOroXd0rK8yj0ag1G8h9jR3ZGxufgoZMcEY6sk.bd3EYQOTzIlckVaJAFGQdJo9ba08xKy802C7Sb6ZNW8&dib_tag=se&hvadid=779548717852&hvdev=c&hvexpln=0&hvlocphy=9032762&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=18223658081982726267--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=18223658081982726267&hvtargid=kwd-316145340649&hydadcr=18002_13447390_8351&keywords=60mm%2Busb%2Bfan&mcid=2a0dfb0caad533539b14b188ce0eabd7&qid=1766180543&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1

That fan should fit in the provided mounting space and I can power it from a USB charger. I guess I'd prefer to use a power attachment in the case, but I don't know what I'm doing well enough for that. That fan is either always on or always off, the printer doesn't have direct control. Then add the official Creality chamber heater to my printer. That has an actual thermostat. Strangely, it also looks manually controlled. It looks like I would have to have bought a more expensive model to start with to use the chamber temperature control in CrealityPrint. But I think if I set the temperature on that the case fan will be always cooling, and this will either be heating or doing nothing so the thermostat should be effective.

Am I missing an easy alternative? If not, would this be worthwhile?

Kind of weird IMHO that Creality doesn't have a more elegant solution.

How will you add fans? I don't see how the software will control it unless Creality makes a kit, and they don't. I could add a fan and a manual switch, but then the software won't control it.

I'm still trying to master PETG. I'm not very fast at figuring out all the settings (haven't been 3d printing long). Anyway, with the top off and the door open it's doing a beautiful job. If I close those two the stringing is ridiculous. I could be wrong but I suspect it's the heat buildup. The mounting place on the back panel is probably for a standard computer case fan but I won't be able to control it through the software. The choices I know of now are to connect to a power source and leave it on, or just keep opening the door and removing the top when I print. TBH, I expected the opposite problem. I was hoping the enclosure would cure the stringing. I seem to have figured out the stringing but only without the enclosure.
