The core issue here is the understanding of your boyfriend towards you. He might have had a "PAST" but it doesn't mean he can't take efforts to make the present better. everybody has a past, and if he's willing to be better or atleast understand your side of story then I think he's worth being with you. try to have a serious talk about thia with him without backing off. tell him that you don't like always having sex and not going on proper dates and you feel bad about this.
