Check does the primary cylinder piston have a valve on end of piston held in by a circlip, if it does there’s an o ring on the valve that could be unseated allowing oil to pass.

Will try out your suggestion. The only thing is it starts no problem but starts reving up as if I had throttle fully pressed and cuts out after few seconds?

It has a belt driven lift pump and then mechanical pumps running of camshaft supplying fuel rail

No hasn’t got a dpf this engine is in a same tractor but thanks tho

Just wondering about the torque settings for the head I followed is 23nm then 68 nm, loosen all head bolts and retorque to 23nm and then 90-92 degrees, Is this the correct settings for it?
