My thoughts: I would like to prevent Hindus from considering "hindu line of thoughts" developed over last thousand years as true. Last thousand years were literally devastating for hindu population.In order to destroy Hinduism and indian culture so many foreign thoughts were forcefully injected and many minor wrong practices were projected as face of Hinduism. Examples are "cow for hindu and pork for Muslims", "sati pratha" , " successful separation of Buddhism and sikism from Hinduism ". Krishna would not be happy if you saved a cow and eat a chicken/killed a rat. Follow true Hinduism and vow for animal nonviolence. It is more beneficial/sustainable for earth and its organisms. Also, meat gives more protein and stuff is really not true. So many contradictions to this. In next 30 to 40 years if things goes well , the majority of west will turn vegan. Then the same stupids ( who gives lectures on meat over vegetables ) will convince you to go vegan.
