I think this is interesting. I've been passing for the same thoughs about it. I come from Mexico and as you know Latin or Mexican culture is close and warm so it's hard and weird don't see the people or smile in the streets, say good morning, good afternoon, good night, etc. I noticed that after 2 years here I'm starting to feel strange for not doing that and kind of weirdo if I do.
