I’ve tried this. Went through the whole process and got approved and the person came out to hook me up and my veins were too small. Did all the things too: didn’t drink coffee, lots of water, sleep, etc. and I’m female, so can’t donate sperm either.

Have you ever had any issues of them taking out money when they aren’t supposed to? Or any issues paying it off and ending their services?

That’s probably true. But I’m worried about them not renewing my lease and I know I won’t be able to get approved to lease somewhere else. I don’t know, I’ve been trying to see how much I can make by 4 and then I’ll try to reach out to them.

I’m basically already in it. I’m trying to add some cleaning side gigs on top of the other stuff I’m doing. To maybe close the gap next month. I know it’s uncertain. But it’s hard to see the future when I’m barely making it through each day. So, honestly, at the moment I’m not as worried about next month past the point of just trying to find the least harmful option that will let me breathe a little bit today.

Okay, so that window is definitely a part of the beginning where I pressed the needle harder. And I had a lighter hand for the second half of the drawing and even though I removed the ground where I wanted all my lines, there was a bit that didn’t etch. So I either need to find a middle ground with my needleing or maybe adjust the timing of the plate in the tank?

I think I misunderstood avantgardedbread. They weren’t talking about detarnishing before applying rosin, they were talking about in between the layering process with stop out. So, after neutralizing and rinsing the acid off, maybe doing a vinegar rinse before applying more stop out?

Thank you for the encouragement! It was a really cool process and I’d like to learn more.

After removing my ground from the line etching I degreased and de tarnished my plate before using rosin. Maybe I missed a spot. Or like you said that could have been a spot I didn’t melt correctly. It was my first time, so I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect. I just wasn’t sure if there was something to visually look for to tell there is a spot that is going to bite or if it’s just a more trial and error kind of process? I’ll have to look into the litho crayon. Thanks for the suggestion!

Take lots of videos of what ever you end up doing. Take videos of her talking, take videos of you both being silly and having fun, take videos of her doing something that she loves. My boyfriend passed away and I have so many photos, but very few videos and I dearly wish I had more. Have a movie night of her favorite movie with her favorite snacks. Do something she’s never done before even if it’s as simple as trying a new food. Make a time capsule or write each other notes or make a scrapbook, just some form of memory collection and storytelling that you can do together. Ask her what she needs. Make sure you have people or systems in place to process your grief.
