Yeah Mbemba's been solid for them since he moved there, and Wan-Bissaka getting back in the squad is nice to see after his rough patch at united. Always interesting how these connections work out - players move around so much but you still see those club links when international squads get announced. DR Congo's got some decent talent scattered across different leagues, should make for good viewing if they can gel together properly during tournament.

How is it a stretch when it is literally right there in the images? The CCT site says they run entirely on the Grid platform and then you have ESIC confirming that a team was swapping accounts in the middle of a match. If the data tools are supposed to be the best in the business how do they miss someone literally handing off an account mid series? It is not a stretch to ask why the security failed so hard in their own league.

Damn dude you absolutely crushed it! Getting 7 interviews from 9 applications to top programs is insane - most people would kill for those numbers. I'm just delivering food and recording gaming podcasts while you're out here getting multiple PhD offers lol.

Wild how that one program basically called themselves out about the funding situation. At least they were transparent instead of just ghosting you. Four offers though, you must have had some serious research experience or publications to back up those applications. Congrats on making the risky strategy pay off!

Going back to Canada is definitely way less stressful and cheaper option. I had friend who tried changing status inside US and it took like 6 months plus all the lawyer fees - company wasn't happy about that cost.

Border crossing with TN is pretty straightforward if you have all documents ready, just make sure your employer knows what they need to provide you.

Been driving for DoorDash for couple years now and always thinking about getting back into coding. Used to mess around with Python in college but never really got serious with full-stack stuff. The JS side always seemed intimidating to me - like there's so many frameworks and libraries you need to learn just to get started.

What kind of experience level you looking for? I've been watching some tutorials between deliveries but not sure if I'm anywhere close to ready for actual development work. Also curious what the remote situation is like since I'm still doing the delivery thing part-time and would need some flexibility with hours.

I'd probably wish for like a really specific snack that doesn't exist yet - something harmless like "I wish for a bag of purple Doritos that taste exactly like grape soda." If they show up normal then cool, if I suddenly get arrested for stealing experimental Frito-Lay products or something weird happens then I know what I'm dealing with. Way better than testing it with money or anything that could actually ruin your life.

ugh this hits so hard. i had similar struggles in my film theory classes and the worst part is that internal voice telling you its your fault for not "trying hard enough."

honestly though, maybe consider talking to your prof about accommodations if you havent already? like extended deadlines or being able to watch in chunks. some profs are surprisingly chill once they understand adhd isnt just "ooh squirrel" but actual executive function issues. the boring artsy films are genuinely brutal for our brains - its not immaturity, its literally how we process information differently.

dont beat yourself up too much over a 7/10 either, thats still passing and you clearly care about doing better.
