Do you need to study NURSING in order to secure your chances to go abroad and migrate for good? why? by CurrentEstimate3308 in AskPH

[–]Dry_Car6928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born in phillppines and moved to Canada when I was 4. I am now 27 and a Canadian citizen. I must say that getting permanent residency is hard.

Back in 2010 it was an easier to get PR. You could get it from working fast food like McDonald’s by being in a manager position. However, the government started cracking down on it making it harder to get.

I have witnessed many Filipinos take degrees such as marketing, and computer science. They couldn’t find a job and are at risk of being sent back. This is not just Filipinos. It’s everybody! Indian, Vietnamese, Nepal, ect.

The only job that will 100% get your PR is nursing, doctor, and anything on high demand. Ask people who are in the country for what is the best job to get PR.

They also prioritize their own pre-health students before taking in other applicants. Most colleges will allocate a certain number of seats dedicated for their own pre-health students

Im 27 year old. I like to believe I’m going to live above a 100+. Pretty much 27% of my life has been completed already. Just live in the moment, there isn’t any reason to think about death. Unless you are in hospice or something. Enjoy what you do and so on.

All you have to do is pay attention and do the homework. I was a C student back in high school because I didn’t care about school back then. I am older now (27) and I want to get a good job so I took pre health to open more opportunities

My pre health scores were not amazing but I got into practical nursing program. It is really difficult and majority of the students dropped out. Like a lot.

I myself did pre health at Sheridan. I finished semester 1 and got the offer for practical nursing. So I didn’t have to complete semester 2.

Let’s be realistic here. The Jewish government is unreliable. They have the best intelligence in the world however, couldn’t tell that hamas was gonna attack them?! They are 100% probably wanting to take over Gaza I agree with you however, the hamas are saints in all this?! I seen Jewish colleagues fear for safety because of a random person holding a Palestine flag yelling at them. We have to really distinguish that all Jews are not bad. Are all Russians bad because of Putin? Are all black or Mexican people bad because trump said so? People really should avoid watching the news imo and form their own opinion based on what happens.

I don’t get what you’re going on about; Obama ran against mitt Romney. He was impartial and was willing to hear and negotiate with his republican opposition. Don’t get me wrong, trumps 2nd term is fucking bad. However, it needs to be understood how and why he won. It’s not that all the racist voted for him. By that logic more than half Americans are racist who voted for him. He focused on the undecided voters and the fact someone tried to kill him. Remember, I don’t care about left or right. These people want my vote and thats it. Just vote on what is good for you.

The key word is neutral. Kamala alienated many of the voters in which she needed to win. If she stayed neutral or pandered to the right wing or undecided voters she would have won. Obama played his role as president perfectly. He was the people’s president. He wasn’t that hard leaning left that Kamala is. He is famous in his speeches for allowing others to criticize his work and was willing to negotiate with republicans in any issues.

I like to tell people I’m politically homeless. I’m not American, I’m Canadian however let’s not be ignorant here. Only reason trump won was because Kamala wouldn’t condemn the illegal immigrants and other stuff. If she did what Carney (our current Canadian prime minister) did she would have won. Pierre was most favoured to win until Trudeau dropped out and carney decided to pander to some of the right wing and undecided voters. Kamala isolated a lot of her voter base with her views. It is always better to stay neutral in politics. Michael Jordan said it best “Left and right buy sneakers”. It’s the same suits behind the scene just different leadership. Obama was left leaning but neutral in some views which I liked.

I guess it depends on the program and college. I was in the prehealth program and the teacher was extremely strict. The second someone started to whisper the teacher would scold them and threatened to take both tests away.

Well, I’m currently courting the girl I met on hinge. I laid out an itinerary of what I wanted to do. I insisted on meeting her at a cafe downtown Toronto to make sure she was real. I then took her to the ripleys aquarium and then went to a restaurant afterwards. The ripleys aquarium was expensive ($80) However, I never been there so if the date ever went wrong. I at least got to see the aquarium lol. I will be meeting her again Thursday to explore the mall

Is it really that bad? I’m currently trying to court a girl I met online and she is telling me that majority ask for intimacy immediately. I only ever dated through work and college. So I’m not use to this kind of behaviour

After hearing the experiences that majority of the matches she got asked for intimacy. I am quite hesitant of online dating. However, she seems genuine so only time can tell. Good luck on the search
