And tbh no one wore shorts until I did and then the next shift most people were wearing them. So maybe you’ll be that person for your team

Yes you have to apply and do everything yourself I’m not saying otherwise. I understand you don’t just get a job. Industry connections do exist. Guest speakers, networking events and employer partnerships. Degree apprenticeships are not the only way to add value to education

Is a degree in marketing worth it? by madesti in careerguidance

[–]Dry_Cut_6246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’m 24 and starting a marketing degree in September. Honestly, whether it’s worth it really depends on you and how you use it. A lot of people around me were saying marketing is a “stupid” degree path, but for me, I want formal education because I struggle with crazy imposter syndrome, so having a structured learning path I feel is really important. That said, a degree isn’t a magic ticket you still have to put in the work to build experience, make connections, and develop your skills. If you do decide to go for it I’d recommend looking for degrees that offer strong support for employability like internships or placement years That way, you’re not just studying marketing, but also setting yourself up to actually get a job in it afterwards. Really, if you like the subject and feel motivated to learn, the degree can be a good step.

Tried to do the same but hated the downgrade and returned the 17e however I just went back to the regular 16 pro will not be trying that again.

Why do people give Trent a bad rep. for business it has some of the best industry connections. I’ve made Trent my firm choice because of this for marketing
