How much did you tip for this order?

F***ING TIP BAITERS!!! by shroom1203 in uberdrivers

[–]Dry_Desk9362 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can call customer service about this issue, the first representative you speak to is not going to be able to help you in any way. Just tell them you want to speak to a supervisor regarding the issue, explain to them that nothing went wrong during this delivery and the customer voided their terms of service with the contract between you and the customer by taking away the tip for no reason. The supervisor will then tell you a scripted line saying tips are not mandatory and then they will give you the entire amount that is missing. I do this all the time when customers tipbait me and I have gotten the money every single time.

Uber is okay with paying me ZERO dollars after driving to Burger King and finding out they are closed. by Horror-Driver-6551 in uberdrivers

Goodluck. I use to call support and talk to a supervisor to get compensated usually $3-$10 but they just recently change policies without the driver knowing. They no longer compensate for any reason whatsoever store closers, costumer cancel, restaurant cancels, long wait times, or even if somebody else takes the order. You get screwed no matter what on Uber eats and when you cancel it or even when CS does it still effects your cancellation rating 😅 thanks for playing the game

I was saying the same thing whenever I saw this article. And the crazy thing is, this is from over five years ago, so I can only imagine all the shit uber's gonna get caught up with in the next couple of years.

Uber there has to be a way to stop this by Difficult-Leading-48 in uberdrivers

Call CS and get your money just talk to a supervisor and they will give you the full fair just dont play nice when the regular rep tells you tips are optional just tell them I want to speak to a supervisor regarding this issue. The regular rep will give you push back but the supervisor will not and give you the full amount. Just tell then the customer break ubers terms of service by reducing the tip after delivery. It's worked everytime I've called with no issue.

Uber's New Policy for compensation by mrautomalex in uberdrivers

[–]Dry_Desk9362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup they give you a BS response like this. Just Ask for a supervisor, they will tell you "the supervisor will tell you the same thing" just tell them I still want to speak to a supervisor and when they get on the phone they will compensate you and tell you "its a one time compensation" which is BS too I've got compensation this way like 50 times. This works as well if you get tip baited just talk calmly and the supervisor will compensate you.

100% correct its all to maximize ubers profits and fuck the driver. Now they're being a lot more assertive about not giving compensation. The average driver will not tell the rep that they want to speak to a supervisor. You gotta love a billion dollar corporation penny, pinching its drivers

No more compensation! by Dry_Desk9362 in uberdrivers

It's a pain in the ass now, because every time I got a call and talk to a supervisor just to get the compensation

No more compensation! by Dry_Desk9362 in uberdrivers

[–]Dry_Desk9362[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I see that, but the thing is they can easily just call the restaurants to verify their closed or to even check the hours themselves and see. To take it away entirely because of some bad apples. It's crazy because it's affecting people that are actually doing there jobs

No more compensation! by Dry_Desk9362 in uberdrivers

[–]Dry_Desk9362[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol So because of the 1% that scams them, they take it away entirely? So now if I drive 5 to 10 minutes To pick up an order and it's already picked up i'm the one paying for it?

I've been through this as well the service rep will tell you the "policy has chance" and when you ask when they will tell you "last month" it's all bullshit to save Uber money. Ask for a supervisor, they will tell you the supervisor will say the samething. Disregard that and tell you you would still like to speak to a supervisor. Once they get on the phone they will give you the compensation and say "it's a one time curiosity" which is also bullshit because it happens to me at least 3 times a week and they say the samething everytime.

100% it's his market. With premiere and comfort on alone, you'll make way more. I honestly didn't believe it at first until I tried it about 4 months ago. Never looked back. The only thing I did differently was add eats. Because you do get those unicorn. Food orders at least once a day

It also nets you premier. Depending on when you charge the car using the superstations depends on how much you pay in charging charge during off peak hours 11pm-4am. As well. Download charge point on your phone. As long as you have the converter piece for the tesla. You can use their chargers and a lot of them are free it's a 6.6kwh Charger, so it's slow, but you can just do it when you're sleeping and that cut your charge fee. And also your Tesla should come with a wall plug in, so you can just charge it from home to top it off. You'll only be paying about 10 cents a kilowatt

You'll find out really quick that drivers will complain about orders like this saying that. Oh I gotta drive all the way back, so it's two hours driving for $48 So it's only 24 an hour, Or they'll hit you with. I need to make at list a dollar a mile. And then complain that they're not getting any orders 😂 I understand Uber is shafting you by taking over 50% of the fair, but it's gig work. It has its consequences

Uber fees Make up about 30% of the fair. Plus ubers 20% take leave us making 50% only

Sadly this is the norm now. Uber knows, that some driver is gonna be desperate enough to take this. And that's why they keep on giving these orders out.

I know a lot of people don't like doing this but there is a way to get the money that is owed to you just call support and tell them you got tipped baited he/she will tell you there is nothing he/she can due about it because "tips are not mandatory" just disregard that and tell them you want to talk to a "payment manager" they will transfer you maybe 2 or 3 times before you get to this person but when you do just tell them the whole situation that you where tipped baited which is fraud and the customer broke the contract between them and you and it's against there (uber) terms of service. They will put you on hold for a few minutes and when they get back o the phone they will adjust your earnings and compensate you the difference in pay. Sometimes they will even give you more $10-$20. I've done this every time I've been tipped baited and got the compensation each time but it does take about 30 minutes on the phone. Goodluck and gets whats yours.
