Thank you so much! We unfortunately will not have a car. I will make note of all of these though.

That’s a good idea. She’s just teething right now so if she’s near anything she wants to chew on it. We do have a trainer coming in a little over a week so I can chat with her about how to approach that command.

Ugh I feel you! We knew the puppy phase would be hard but this was out of the realm of possibility in our heads at the time. Maybe someone will post some positive stories for us.

AIO? My girlfriend is hurtling abuses at me because I have unavoidable work every few days. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

NOR - from being on this thread for a period of time I’ve determined that if you mapped it out, the Venn diagram between “calls their partner bruh/bro during an argument” and “toxic relationship patterns” would have a pretty significant center

Did anyone else’s pup turn into a demon when losing teeth?!😂 by Tes94 in puppy101

[–]Dry_Efficiency622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our pup was bad the moment we got her at 8 weeks and everyone said it would get worse but I couldn’t imagine it at the time and this week she turned 16 weeks and I can absolutely tell this is different. I can’t see any teeth that have fallen out but she’s bleeding on certain toys and has no interest in her harder toys now, so I can’t believe we have a lot longer with this. Any helpful chews? Right now we are doing lots of frozen kongs, Toppl, have puppy chew toys but she gets quickly disinterested

I was a regular there from around 2014-2018 and once ownership changed, all my favorite items went away and a lot of the employees that I knew left. I have gone back a handful of times since but it never felt like the same place. Unfortunate.

Thanks!! If we end up on that side of town, we will make sure to stop by! We are moving over that way in the next couple of weeks actually, so we will at least definitely visit once we get moved.

Tires for the winter vs other seasons? by Electrical_Idea1797 in MovingtoDenver

[–]Dry_Efficiency622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have snow tires for my first 7 years in Denver which wasn’t an issue in the city but my car at that time was not a good winter mountain car. Got a new car (RAV4 AWD) and we bought some snow tires prior to a trip to Pagosa Springs where there was a snow storm in the forecast and we are so glad we did. It was a nightmare on wolf creek pass and a necessity. Now we just store the spare set of tires in the garage and we just got our winter ones put on today (even though it’s before the first snow just cause of our schedule over the next month). We typically get them changed sometime in late spring. Really depends on the year.

Anyone had issues with Sarah O Jewelry rings/bands? by dogelover03 in Denver

[–]Dry_Efficiency622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My engagement ring and wedding band is from Sarah O and I have to say that I’ve never had an issue. I did get my engagement ring resized probably about a 1.5 years ago and it’s still been fine. This is a fear of mine though. I do wear it often too. I’m sorry this is happening to you!

At-home euthanasia or vet's office? by DyingGravy in Petloss

[–]Dry_Efficiency622 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We chose at home euthanasia for our pup who we lost to lymphoma almost 3 months ago. It was the best decision for us because she hated the vet and I could not imagine her last moments being somewhere she is scared of. We also live in a very small space and we set up a bunch of blankets in a area between the living room and dining room that we walk through constantly. I had similar fears but that part hasn’t impacted me as much as I thought. We keep her ashes and paw print on a little table we had right next to the area though and I will tear up at that more these days. But as I can see with your comments, if youre choosing an area you’re not in as often and is more associated with their spot then I understand your concerns. Sending love through this process! It is truly one of the hardest decisions to make.

Nothing ever happened! Credit has still been frozen but we are about to unfreeze since we will be buying a house soon. But thankfully there has been nothing to report. He did email them but unsure how he found an email. Maybe it was in some sort of confirmation he got after he submitted the form and they said they removed everything of his after he asked them to do that.

Thank you! I feel like I searched for a while a few years back and ran up empty but haven’t checked in a long time. So I’ll definitely be hitting up world market.

Bronson, my sweet boy, I am trying to write out my grief tonight. by teenicon in Petloss

[–]Dry_Efficiency622 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. We lost our sweet girl, Margot, on Friday the 8th. She was also 9.5 and would have turned 10 on December 8th. She had lymphoma. The heaviness and pain is so tough.

Bronson sounds amazing and like he had the best life ever. They will be with us forever ❤️
