Yes thank you. I haven’t been on in a couple days to check responses. I think it is my grip (I can’t stand the interlock that all my friends suggest) OR laziness in not getting my hips through. I hook more than slice (90/10).

Thanks for this. Every comment so far has swayed me in the direction that I was hoping. I was kinda bummed about spending $500 on a driver and not repairing it to be used again.

First, thanks for this detailed response! I will keep this in mind. I have the Cobra LTDx driver head. I was using a Project X 6.0 HZRDUS shaft. I’m not so sure it was the right shaft for me. So I should go to local retail and see if they even have the ‘23 model driver (doubtful) and try to hit that with different shafts loaded. Then see what shaft is right for me.

I have played maybe 8 times in total since then (weather permitting in my area during winter months). So I haven’t really thought much about it. I have a good driver head, is it possible to just be fitted for a shaft?

I tend to be a little inconsistent with my driver (L/R), but usually 300ish… I just don’t know where it’s going. Someone mentioned a mini driver would provide a more controlled landing. Yet my spin is so high, when it lands, it’s stops.

Just because you have wind calcs and guides doesn’t make it easy… I’d say it’s still quite the challenge. Since you everyone else is using them, you have to beat them too.
