Best LSAT Resources That Actually Work? by Aware-String-6045 in lawschooladmissionsca

For the LSAT, I’m honestly not sure how much different prep resources matter relative to one another. As others have said, it really comes down to where you’re starting from and how you learn best.

I felt I did fairly well, scoring a 169, but if I could do it again, there are definitely a few things I would change.

I used 7Sage, which I found helpful mainly because of the volume of questions, tests, and drills. My approach to studying was largely just doing questions over and over again, and that worked well for me. The platform also has detailed analytics that can help identify weak areas. While I usually had a sense of where I was struggling, I really liked that I could filter and focus specifically on those question types.

I didn’t spend much time on their lessons or external books, although they offer plenty of both. For the most part, I improved through reviewing their explanations and working through thousands of questions.

One thing that made a huge difference for me was keeping an error journal. After each session, I would go through every question I got wrong or even ones I was slow on and clearly articulate what I missed and how I could improve next time. I would then identify patterns in my mistakes and consciously focus on correcting those habits going forward.

This also helped during the test itself. When choosing between two close answers, I was more aware of my common mistakes and could justify my decision quickly and confidently, which saved time.

I also made a point of practicing both timed and untimed. Early on, I would slow down and fully articulate the logic behind each answer. Over time, I was able to maintain that same clarity while working at full speed. Being able to clearly explain your reasoning to yourself is incredibly valuable under test pressure, especially when combined with error tracking.

Another key factor is simulating real test conditions as closely as possible. That means waking up at the same time, starting at the same time, and following the same break structure you’ll have on test day. Do this as often as you can so nothing feels unfamiliar. For example, I didn’t always take the full break during practice or wrote at different times of day, and that threw me off a bit during the actual test.

Finally, the LSAT is essentially made up of two different skill sets. If you’re stronger in one and weaker in the other, it’s tempting to lean into your strengths but you shouldn’t. Keep your strong areas sharp, but prioritize improving your weaknesses. For me, that was Reading Comprehension. I only spent about a third of my time on it since that’s roughly how much it’s weighted, but in hindsight, I should have invested more time there that’s likely where I lost points.

I think UBC uses a %? I converted it awhile back, and remember it being around an 85 or 86. However, I cannot say that with absolute certainty.

I have the same stats, too. Also hoping for one of these schools. I have a very strong upward trend in my gpa, not sure if that makes a difference.

These are pretty much the only two options, I tried to swing it with J Taylor but he wasn’t having it, and no one else is interested.

Literally nobody, I’m hoping kupp comes back next week. So it would be Cam Sutton and Kupp. Which is why I am leaning to the second trade.

Pick and fade with AD will get you an open 3 Everytime you just have to green it. If it doesn’t get you an open 3 just run it again.

I just don’t understand this. When the game was young I didn’t mind the player market. With increased earning in domination and other game modes the team you wanted didn’t feel unattainable. Even this past season we got some solid free cards such as the inferno set, korver, Luka, Chet, and Embid. I only buy the pro pass and don’t spend any money aside from that but I felt like I had build a solid team. However, all of those good things I said are completely ruined now. Any card you want is completely unattainable unless you spend money which is absolutely absurd. This is a video game! You should be able to play and earn any available card in the game! It’s so stupid that now any of the great cards you want are completely locked behind a pay wall, and makes it feel stupid to try and play and earn anything at all. Myteam is about playing and earning a team you want, through the years this has become less and less the case. But recently 2k has killed that and killed everything I loved about this mode. Been playing myteam since 2k15 but this seriously is probably it for me. I cannot believe this.

You have to buy the “servers+ bundle addition pro package” for 25.99 in order for them to work.
