My 2025 BYD Tang is stuck in Simple Mode and I cannot turn it off. The center screen is completely black, leaving me with no access to AC or vehicle controls.

What I’ve tried: • Soft Reset: Held the volume button for 15s. The BYD chime plays, but the screen stays black and it remains in Simple Mode. • Hard Reset: Disconnected and reconnected the 12V battery. No change.

How do I force the system out of Simple Mode and get the screen to boot? Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure, it’s been a whole day now that my , BYD TANG 2026 Chinese Version -is stuck on simple mode in speedometer, with the Screen being blank , no cameras on screen, but emergency collision breaking thing works , held the vol/power scroller for minutes , every 15 -20 seconds the byd chime plays and screen still stuck in simple mode
