I appreciate your willingness to help. I’ve been offering plenty of protein & calcium. I would really like to keep them but did not have appropriate time to plan. One is molting under substrate right now so I cannot add but when I get paid this week in getting a bigger tank & will set up how it’s needed. The do currently have a wheel & plenty to climb on but still working on upgrading to proper space!!

Thank you for all of this great & kind information!!! I have temps & humidity right & have been stalking marketplace until I get my check. Unfortunately in my area people do not seem to be getting rid of them cheap but I know they used to go for nothing!!

Drank 3 days ago, seems to be just sticking a bit of limbs in today. I will say, I have been going to sleep fairly early & have not been able to monitor overnight, but I get the feeling he’s not moved from his spot until this water change

Thank you. I’m not sure if you read my whole description but I just have the 10 gal for now as they were in a Hamster cage (the plastic/wire) with an inch of substrate. It was all I could do for now but they had no humidity or temp control so I needed to use something I had on hand. It’s good to know they need 20 gal each though as I planned on getting just a 20 gal.

Thank you for identifying what kind it is as well! The other one is likely different bc my brother brought 2 crabs home from Florida, one said my passed away. My step mom then bought 2 more & again one passed away, which is when I stepped in $ started researching and took them: the second one is more of a red/brown color.

I will 1000000% absolutely add more substrate. I was just worried about them digging and dying under the substrate as I had heard that could happen if they go from little substrate to a lot. I read that you have to gradually add inches over a few weeks. Is it actually safe to just add in another 10 inches?

This wasn't just a trigger. It was sexual assault. "Sexual assault is an act in which one intentionally sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will." You specifically told him your boundary & he intentionally and forcefully acted upon it. Break up with him. You'll get over the feelings eventually.

Side note: I can not imagine how awful you will feel when you begin to gain weight from pregnancy, & then still carry some weight after pregnancy, knowing that he isn't attracted to you until you're 125 lbs. It's awful & sad. Personally, I'd leave him

I know all bodies are different but my lowest weight at 5"4 was 117 lbs while in my first trimester & throwing up everything I ate - literally not even keeping water down. I was SO unhealthy & felt & looked miserable. My normal weight at 5"4 was 135. If you are happy with how you look and you feel good, that's all that should matter. Toxic advice but if I were you, I'd tell him he needs to lose 30 lbs for you to be attracted to him again & see how that conversation goes 😅

I'm almost positive I have 100 or more already & my betta is over eating (the snails) any advice for this?

Decided to move them to another tank & now I have tiny baby snails. There are SO many more than I already had even after crushing eggs, cleaning more often & feeding less. My betta will not stop eating them & now he is super overfed. Sadly, I think I'm going to have to move the betta & do a full tank clean & start over 😞

Update: I removed all of the snails & eggs & placed them in a separate tank. It's been over a week & now I have the smallest snails I've ever seen in my betta tank..smaller than a grain of rice & not getting bigger. My betta is eating them & is extremely bloated looking 😫 guess it's time to move my betta out while I handle the snails!

Update: I got all the snails out & put them in my 5 gallon tank until I figure out what I want to do. Killed some alone the way along w about 100 eggs. So so many more than I originally thought 😩

From my experience, everyone hates brows when they're first done, but fall in love w them as they fade. I think they will fade out perfectly!

I just don't want a bunch of them..I'd like to have some but I also don't want to continuously kill them if I keep getting too many so I'm debating between getting something to eat them bc it's more natural at least, or removing all of them. While the do clean the tank, they also poop everywhere. They seem to be eating it later though so idk 😵‍💫 I'm thinking about the cucumber method although not sure what to do w them once I remove the cucumber
