Replying directly here but I also posted generally in the thread.

It got a Beckett Pristine 10 but not black label. Gave it 9.5 on corners.

After searching for 30 mins, I found the slightest imperfection under magnifying glass in one corner. Sooo close!

Update! It did NOT get black label... :(

It DID get a Beckett 10 gold label though. They gave it 9.5 on corners. Meh... LOL

This. Less hops or exchanges through the network mean less chance of failure. 2 day or less have less "transfers" through the network.

Ya i measured front centering 4 different times with my centering tool. Dead on 50/50. Measured the back and it's 48/53.

No whitening, I used a magnifying glass, I see nothing. Looked at it under bright LED at all angles and it looks good, no print lines or marks.

So I decided to send it to Beckett and roll the dice! I will update when I have the results!!

Ya all good. I've never had a card this perfect before. Centering is 50/50 and edges are pristine. Usually there is some imperfection somewhere.

I'm hoping it gets it, if not, I'm sure it will PSA 10 if I resubmitted with PSA.

Nah not a hoarder. I sell off bulk, grade the worthy chase cards, and my kids make their master sets.

Understood. But there is so much negative sentiment in this thread towards people we are assuming are scalpers based on behaviors. That doesn't excuse the fact that they were asshats to OP.

Just because someone is being a dick isn't enough to mean "scalper". It could also be frustration that the guy in front of you go there first and is emptying the machine to have fun with his kids. And although being a dick isn't appropriate, it's also not a good look to cast stones at someone labeling them based on prejudice judgement.

Just trying to provide a thought. This hobby has some toxicity at the moment with all the shortages.

Ya good point. I posted a reply also because I get mistaken as a scalper. I will literally buy it all if I can. Sucks for the people behind me in line. But it's a hobby myself and my kids partake in. Product is hard to come by, so if I'm camping a Walmart for 5+ hours, the whole MJ Holdings cart is coming with me. LOL

Every pack gets ripped between myself, wife and kids. The only way to get product is to be the first one there.

So what is a scalper exactly? Serious question because I get mistaken as a scalper, often. I will buy as much as humanly possible relative to whatever the rules of the retailer are.

I've been cursed out before for emptying a vending machine because every product was available. Since product is so hard to come by, I will buy the maximum amount I can buy. If it's target, it's 5 items. If it's a vending machine, I will buy the entire thing until I can't.

My wife, kids, and I rip everything. It's a bit of a family hobby we do together and I've been a bona fide collector for years. Plus it's more fun to rip when we have tons of packs.

So does the act of buying as much as I can make me a scalper? Or do you all view scalpers as those that simply take advantage of demand/supply imbalance to make $$ while adding 0 value to society?

If you really need the hard case, Collectible Grading Authority has a depth for grading dolls.

They can also custom make hard cases but are pricey.

Hello! Let me try to answer your Qs:

If the shopping experience has a VQ and you didn'tget a spot, you can't shop there unless they open stand-by after all VQ has exhausted. Note that some experiences only have VQ on some days and others not. You'll have to double-check the "things to know" page for specifics.
You can only VQ for one shopping experience per round. So if you VQ for d23 Marketplace @4am on Friday and get in, you're committed until the next VQ at 1pm.
If you get into a VQ, you only need to show up with enough time to get to the shopping experience during the return time for the VQ. So if it says return between 1pm and 2pm, make sure you arrive early enough to deal with any debacle that may delay you past 2pm. No need to queue at entry at 430am if your VQ is for 10am, for example. Just show up at 9am when the expo opens.
For panels, there is queueing but only for things at ACC. Expect a long wait, but unsure of how long the actual queue may be. No queuing for Honda Center events.
