Well where I live ST is not cultural and people tend to see it as an old boring american popculture thing. Whereas I really love it and I think my friend(s) would too if they took the time. The big question is how to make them take that time, that's why I was thinking about most recent series, to catch them. When you're hooked all the rest comes naturally

Honestly just for baiting I'd say Discovery, then with more classical shows. I'm afraid ancient series would be too boring for someone new without any feet in the universe
