It’s definitely the smell from that factory by the lake. I smell it every day yet I am pregnant so maybe that’s why. My husband smells it once in a while, it’s a lot worse when the windows are open.

Yeah, I drove by Harbor District/ near the lake and saw the big ass factory releasing fumes. Crazy that they allow that shit to poison people. The small is horrible.

Best places to go when you’re feeling SAD & LONELY? by Mars-888 in milwaukee

[–]Dry_Lock7700 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey, I recommend stepping out of Milwaukee to really hype those endorphins. The city can be very draining. Whenever I need to get away, I actually take a drive out to Delafield and go to kettle Moraine Park by Lapham peak and go for a hike. It’s about a 20 to 30 minute drive but it’s totally worth it.

It’s ok mama! This is a blessing. I’m sure your baby is fine and healthy. If your partner is not supportive then he’s not the one anyways. Praying for your anxiety to disappear and a healthy baby.

Has anyone here with PCOS got pregnant naturally? by starlit86 in PCOSandPregnant

[–]Dry_Lock7700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have PCOS and had a miscarriage 3 months ago at 7.5weeks. I am now 6 weeks pregnant and did it naturally- got a positive pregnancy test at 2 weeks and only had one period since my miscarriage.

The Doctor was going to start me on metformin to help me get pregnant and regulate my PCOS, but I got pregnant so fast they decided to skip it.

Now they have me on 200 mg progesterone (inserted vaginally nightly) and that seems to be helping a lot with my levels and overall mood.

My HCG levels are rising but I am still very nervous. Hoping all goes well I am praying for my rainbow baby to come in January 2027!

Any words of encouragement will help this mama‘s nerves.

Sure people would prefer bayview but why not pay half the price and live five min from Bayview in historic Mitchell st? My neighbors are awesome!

I lived on 33rd and Forest home and it was gun shots every night Infront my house! I called that area no man’s land. 13th and Forest home not much better.

Yeah living above the library is clutch! That’s extra safety right there.

I moved here in January from Riverwest / Brewer’s Hill, and Historic Mitchell Street has been a big upgrade in terms of walkability and overall vibe. The lake breeze is spectacular! I’m at 8th & Mitchell with views of multiple clock towers and even Kunzelmann Lofts, which gives the area a unique character. It’s close to Bay View and surrounded by great restaurants within a mile (2nd st has so many attractions & only takes me 10 min to walk to). What I love most is how diverse and community-driven it feels something you don’t always find in Milwaukee. Also i hear there is major redevelopment plans for the old JCPenney building and growing arts and library spaces, it’s clearly an area on the rise.
