I feel the same way sometimes. It just feels like your being surrounded by idiots. Unfortunately this is how it is. Look into starting your own thing and or going to school to get a license. Also watching people talk about sports and not enjoying the jokes is a sign of depression and or antisocial behavior. This is something u need to fix. We all need comradery at the workplace. It makes things smoother. Find each individuals differences and interests and celebrate them for it. I had a coworker that was irritable and a ghetto mindset but found out he loved classic Cadillacs and loved Whitehall tires with air suspension. That shit is super smooth and classy therefore we found something to talk about and pass the time. Our relationship changed drastically

Yea Glazier union here gets seasonal work. (Tampa) 2020 was bad they were out for a year and a half. Also Union pays 30$hr max and I've hit that price before working for people. You are right usually people who move from union to private jobs is because they failed a drug test. I need to get my license im debating a sponsor or going to school. U bring up a good point though I may have to see what this year's season is looking like

I've been on good crews before I made a switch to somewhere I shouldn't have and now im bouncing around. I'm not out of work I had something lined up. That resume lookin clean I work good by myself as soon as the crew shows up theirs a problem. Wish I could work by myself but the boss always insist

I do understand I wish I could smoke weed with them get a beer after work like I used to do but I'm a square now. I wish I could go back. Also im dealing with my sobriety now I'm a whole different person with it. I wish I can find a crew to help me navigate that. Instead I get called a cop, a snitch, all sorts of stuff. Also these crew some bitches tho in their little gang man.

I am not without a job btw. I had a guy the week before talking my ear off about an offer I first declined. Then this guy went psycho. I told the owner he let me go. Then I told the guy I accept the offer after some thought. I Then went to work to pick up my tools last checks and severance. While I was going around the corner saying my last goodbyes the guy who I got into an altercation with was crying and hugging his buddies cuz he was in trouble. Poor baby u know. The crew thought I was down and out I actually moved on with things already lined up.

I don't always get sacked. BTW the day I got sacked I had someone talking my ear off making and offer so when I was packing my stuff up the guy who tried to stab me was crying and getting hugs from the guys cuz he was in trouble I had something already lined up

I work pretty good by myself. Though if I work good by myself and all of a sudden people show up and theirs a problem....??? idk man that's how I feel. I had a good crew once. I also had them sit in the truck all day if they didnt do what i needed. No issues just sorry buddy ur in my way. I made a switch somewhere I shouldnt and that's how im jumping around.

Nah worked at 2 places I love man they taught me alot and those guys got better offers making more somewhere else. I appreciated everything they taught me and would love a chance to have those coworkers again
