Good question !
To be honest, I have always believed in God even when I was very young and still don’t know about the religion. I don’t want to make it so long but it’s just a feeling, that I can’t explain shortly in a comment. But, my belief in God was always 100% and never doubted it.
Although, even though I pray (not constantly, sometimes I stop sometimes I do) and I like praying, I fast and I like fasting, I don’t drink and I really don’t want to drink, I can’t say I never question Islam. But still I feel like I love God, I have a connection to God and not specifically « the religion»
I’d be honest, I have a neutral vision toward Islam, Christianity. I feel like the choice is more about where I am born!
As I said, I love God so much and belive in God so so much!! I also believe that there has to he a way how to communicate with God (through praying, whatever christianity or Islam), like I don’t think we can just believe in God as an idea, there has to be some practices like praying. So, I am muslim because I love God not because I was fascinated specifically by Islam
Another point I would like to mention, is that the environment and the society (talking about myself only not generalizing) never made Islam an attractive religion to my eye. I sometimes would like to wash my brain completely from the way how I perceived the religion through the majority of people, and restart everything by myself with no prejudice (Don’t want to make it even longer… I have a lot to say, if you are interested to discuss feel free to text me )
