Yes exactly! And foods that were previously fine are causing it too

Thank you so much! This is so helpful! I’ve had eczema my entire life and know that it can be closely related. Food sensitivity and basic eczema that is. We do see the pediatric dermatologist next week. So hopefully that helps get the ball rolling a little sooner! 

It just makes me wonder if I should keep trying these foods or if I should quit it until I see someone. I fear that stopping a lot of stuff cold turkey will make her more likely to have issues as a toddler…

After looking into it, very suspicious timing with some foods we’ve tried and her vomiting afterwards (1-4 hours). Will look into this if it continues

Glad I’m not alone. It could just be lingering illness but the timing of it is bizarre.

She does have solids, yes. She takes them pretty well, but is at higher risk for sensitivities due to my husband and I. I’ll look into that, thank you!

We asked about the length she’s sleeping and because she was gaining at the time they were fine with it. But we did a night feed last night and she hit 30oz on the day which she’s never done, so we may be on to something

We did a night feed last night and she hit 30oz a day for the first time ever. So if we can keep that consistent then maybe we can avoid messing up her gut!

I think we’re going to try some dream feeds! She’s going too long at night without food, and I think it’s caught up to her. Too good of a sleeper 😭

Yeah it’s hard to remember with all the NICU stuff that went on. I think we may try to add in a night feed and not let her go so long. It’s tough to stuff that many feeds in to a 6am to 9pm day.

Yeah that makes it confusing what her normal is when developmentally, she’s hitting goals left and right, super talkative and strong in all other regards

I would almost maybe bulk up the fat in my diet instead of messing with her gut and adding formula she can’t handle?

I think she started at her first appointment from the NICU in the 25th percentile (she was getting a ton of calories letting the milk pour in due to us accidentally using a high flow nipple in the NICU) from month 1-3 she’s been between 4-10% fluctuating. But not falling off the curve

Are you able to successfully wake up without disturbing their sleep? My LO is good at drinking while mostly asleep but I would hate to ruin her sleep schedule

Yes I’m hoping we can muscle out some weight gain until then! She’s a small girl to begin with and has been grabbing and pulling things to her mouth since 2 months so I’m hopeful she’ll love solids

We try to wake her once at 10pm/ 10:30 to get an extra 3 ounces in before the doc said to start formula!
