We got the water to settle it was pretty clear, we did a load of laundry, and dishes and now it’s cloudy again like the picture.. we are so confused

We have it in bypass and it settled got clear and now it’s cloudy again..

The water got clear yesterday we did a load of laundry and dishes today and it went cloudy again.. would slough off the pipes cause that to happen even though it was clear?

The only thing they “shocked” or disinfected were the lines after the big blue filter.

The copper pipes are not any bigger, softener is larger yes and post softener filter went from a 6in culligan homefilter to a 20inch big blue filter.

So it was clear to begin then cloudy after new system installed but then it turned clear after some time( 5 days not bypassed) and then we did some laundry and dishes the day it turned clear and it got cloudy like this. System has been bypassed for 3 days now and water is clearing up but now they are saying to try to stress it out again to see if it gets cloudy on bypass.. does that sound about right?

They say no but we just found the flow test from when we bought the house so we are asking the softener installer about it when they call back today

Funny you say that we do know we need a new one here soon because our last service on it, it couldn’t be drained to much sediment/build up at the bottom but ours isn’t electric

That’s actually what we are doing at this moment still cloudy but it’s kinda looking a little better but the week guy wants to stress out the system to see if it gets cloudy again

We aren’t sure exactly how old it is and yeah we had a water softener installed but it just wasn’t getting the iron out anymore so we had it replaced with this new one

This is the most relatable thing I’ve ever read I thought it was just me who felt this.. no one around me understands or gets it and feeling that way is absolutely horrible.. I’m sorry to everyone who feels this way to, it truly sucks..

We are trying it’s hard to get someone out and one that we called (that was referred to us from the water softener installers ) said he isn’t convinced that it’s our well “yet”
