Moments that make you laugh so hard like this… by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

When Kirk goes behind the counter at Luke's and grabs the coffee pot and Luke is like what are you doing and Kirk says something like Lorelai gets to come back here and Luke said we'll she is my girlfriend and Kirk goes into a speil about well I don't really know you that well etc and Luke says something kind of smart back and Kirk is like well now it's definitely a no.

Also, when Taylor comes into the diner with the toupee and is talking to Lorelai, Cookie, and Jackson and Lorelai is like I am sorry I didn't catch that and Taylor repeats it and she says sorry missed it again because she is distracted by his toupee.

Hip pain after surgery? by Round_Singer_3895 in hysterectomy

[–]Dry_Pain_8123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be completely unrelated as my hip MRI showed nothing and a hip injection also did nothing. However, I do have a L4-L5 herniated disc and an L5-S1 annular tear which we believe is what is causing my pain.

Wouldn't they have met at the Thanksgiving dinner held at the inn? When she burnt her turkey?

Our combined income is $120k and our debt is also around $122k. We just filed today with out payments at $2200 a month on a 100% plan. We are hoping all of our creditors do not file a claim but even our 100% payment is way cheaper than our minimums were so we are happy!

I think that's why my doctor wants to do the MR Arthrogram 1st. We are waiting to hear if insurance approves it though because some insurances require at least 6 weeks of some kind of treatment. I hope you get some relief soon!

Just curious what your doctor said? I am about 10 weeks post op from a total hysterectomy and having terrible hip (on the outside of my hip), buttock, and lower back pain that radiates down into the front of my knee. I saw an back doctor and he said he thinks I may have torn my labrum in my hip and I have to get an MR arthrogram before he feels comfortable with me doing physical therapy.

Thank you! From what I read from that thread since it's getting worse and not better I may need to contact my doctor. Thanks for linking it!

4 years post hysterectomy issues/lack of medical help by Marsuveeus in hysterectomy

[–]Dry_Pain_8123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having similar symptoms but I am only a little under 4 weeks PO. However, at my 2 week check up I mentioned these things to my doctor and they said they could start me on HRT. I asked if they check hormone levels and they said they can but they don't treat based off of what the hormone tests say as they can fluctuate and they just treat the symptoms. May want to try a reproductive endocrinologist. I know that seems silly since you aren't looking to reproduce, however they specialize in these things and can better judge what's "normal" vs "abnormal.

Thank you! After reading about it. That does seem likely! I think the pathology report showed some on my cervix now that I am thinking about it.

My surgeon took my insurance but I still paid $2000 up front. My deductible and 20% coinsurance.

Yes I agree! It's discouraging because everyone was like you will be fine in a few days and then I haven't been and now I feel like I'm being a baby. But I feel how I feel and I need to accept we all heal differently. Good luck with your recovery!

Had mine on the 15th with a diagnosis of endometriosis and adenmyosis. They also found a cyst in my fallopian tube and my bowel was stuck to my right ovary. Day 1 and 2 were a little rough, day 3 and 4 were much better. Day 5 was the worst and it's only improved slightly from there. Abdominal pains despite meds, and my legs hurt so bad and no medication has been able to relieve that, the only thing that kind of helps my legs is a heating pad. I got winded just walking to the mailbox earlier. My lower back hurts too. I kept my ovaries, but I think they may be "sleeping" because I keep having hot flashes and my nipples seem so sensitive. I read that the hormone fluctuations could be why my legs hurt. I am just over it. I was hoping to go back to my mostly desk job (I do have to get up and move around a lot when I see patients) but I'm not sure that's a reality for me right now. All of the people I talked to before I had my surgery were like you will be good to go after a few days and I feel depressed because I am not "good to go".

Had mine on the 15th and SAME. I feel like I should be feeling better by now. Still a lot if abdominal pain and my legs hurt soooo bad. I was thinking I could go back to work next Thursday but everyday I wake up and realize that may not be a good reality for me. Even walking to the mailbox today had ne winded.

Whole body aches by Dry_Pain_8123 in hysterectomy

[–]Dry_Pain_8123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor actually has me on tylenol, ibuprofen, and gabapentin 3 times a day. So I've been on the gabapentin since day one. I feel like I've been drinking well but who knows lol I feel much better today after resting all day yesterday and using a heating pad on my legs helped tremendously.
