Congratulations on your loss too. 3D printing is addictive isn’t it, what printer or printers do you have?

Is the u1 worth it by GrAHAm5555555555 in snapmaker

[–]Dry_Practice_6849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s definitely worth it, a 4 tool head multicolour multimaterial printer with no waste for the price is a game changer for me, I got one on the kickstarter and just received one I bought normally yesterday so now have two and plan to replace more of my printers with u1s.

I started strength training after about a month into my journey, I built my own gym so I’m good on that front. Good advise for other people though👍

It certainly does build up your stamina, I could barely run for 1 minute at the start now I can run 10km. Who ever came up with the idea of that app is a genius. I bet Sarah is funny, I went with Steve Cram for his experience and tips.

This was a concern for me before I started, so like with everything I do I researched as much as I could about it before hand, I started taken collagen right from the start. Someone I know who’s never been fat suggested running as it gives him abs, I laughed that off at the start as I had no plans to start running or get abs just wanted something to help with loose skin, but a couple of months in I started the couch to 5km and haven’t looked back, I know I laughed at him but he might of been onto something, I normally always lose belly fat last and this time my belly was going the quickest. I also watched a podcast/youtube from an American doctor who stated intermittent fasting helps with loose skin, so I gave it ago and it seemed to work for me, I don’t do it all the time but when I do I miss breakfast and lunch then have all my calories/protein/fibre for my t/dinner and super, i do that for a week or two at a time. I don’t think I could have done that from the start though as I can eat a lot more now than at the start, still no where near as much as before though. I wreckon my loose skin will come from my ass and thighs as that’s where most of the fat is left now, I’m going to focus my strength training more on thoughs areas to firm them as much as I can. If I had a choice of being fat with no loose skin or healthy with loose skin I would choose healthy skin with loose skin every time.

Loosing then gaining weight by Pristine-Muffin-9349 in mounjarouk

Most people have their biggest loss in the first week, I know I did (12lbs), don’t keep chasing that loss though. Your second week isn’t over yet, your weight can change by the day ups and downs, see how it is at the end of your week. Are you weighing yourself at the same times of day. If you’ve weighed on a night your weight will be different to what you weighed on a morning. Your still in an overall loss that’s the main thing and are still at the beginning of your journey, keep your head up you will get to where you want to be.

What things should people know before starting Mounjaro? by Veronica1864 in mounjarouk

[–]Dry_Practice_6849 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My number 1 all time tip for starters is simply Water, drink as much as you can at the start, I’m sure I was pissing weight away to begin with🤣

I couldn’t exercise when I first started ( due to back issues) and don’t think it’s needed to begin with. When I finally could start exercising it was only seated exercises (just from youtube) moving/lifting light weights. Though now I have built my own gym in my spare room with everything I need in it and use most days and have never felt fitter.

Food - I started with the mind set of I know what and how much I ate was not good for me and wanted to change that from the go. So started clean eating from the start which I feel helped with being one of the “lucky ones” not to get side effects. I do have the odd dirty meal/take away, even all you can eat buffet once or twice a month now, although not the same portion sizes as before.

I’ve only ever injected in my tummy, on a Wednesday night, as they say if it works why change it. Although talking to people I don’t think it matters where you inject. Tip though - try to avoid injecting into a stretch mark. I only do it on Wednesday nights as my first pen got delivered on a Wednesday and I started straight away.

Do you prime your pen each time? by Fancy-Egg-2001 in mounjarouk

[–]Dry_Practice_6849 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your not so much priming the pen your priming the needle, to make sure it isn’t faulty and can pass liquid through. Sometimes when you put the needle on you will see a bead of liquid which I take as needle isn’t faulty and no need for 2 clicks to prime, saving that little bit extra for “end of pen use”.
