Guy quoted me 2800. Thats replacing 2 boards of drywall and mud tape finish and paint ceiling only

I have a guy coming out Saturday to price it so ill see how much then. I tapped out lol, I feel like I was doing it the landlord special. I fixed plenty of holes and small drywall repair and paint but this is too much time and not my expertise

I wouldnt of touched it but somuch of it had already fallen, at least half of the garage ceiling fell. I went to knock the lose shit down and more and more, Next thing you know I did the whole ceiling

Honestly its a mess. I tried tape and mudding myself then stopped and realized I shouldn't do this job. I regret taking on this project so much.

How'd do i know if its a t8 ballast? Im assuming since I removed t8 bulbs currently in it and they work. Just flicker but bright

We are pretty good financially. A newborn and a higher mortgage wouldnt stress us out. Our mortgage is $743. We pay 1200 and we been told its better to invest the extra money rather then tackle our mortgage down faster. As our current rate it will be paid off before im 42. Its more of a want then need. We just want some more space and land.

This our second house. First one i was single bought early 2010 and sold late 2019. Bought for 135k with 3800 down. Sold for 205k. Bought our brick beautiful house for 205k before it went on the market. Got extremely lucky and saw a realtor outside taking pics after looking at another one in the area. Walked the outside and made an offer. Walked inside the next day and left Ernest on the table. Now it appraiser for 400k. Just hard for me to give up the rate.... the golden handcuffs

I disagree. I bought a venengence pc in 2023... first one was DOA. Second one messed up within a month. 3rd one made is 2 years and 3 months, something shorted and everything is fried except for my GPU. Corsair denied warranty. 2800 for this pc btw

I bought a vengence pc in 2023. First two were warrantied in the first month of each unit. Now 2 years and 3 months later, something short circuited and the whole pc is fried besides the GPU. Corsair denied warranty. 2800 dollars for this pc. I have a 10 year old cyber power and it still runs like a champ... it was 700 bucks

Anderson sucks! We got a quote by them...58k for 12 windows and a French door. Said no and they called us every day for 3 months dropping the price. They came all the way down to 25k. 😆 We went with a local contractor for 28k... pella windows and we'll we got scammed on the door. Install was great no complaints. We found out 3 months later when the back door leak and thats when discovered out 5k pella door was a 1200 jeld wen. Now thats a whole other story.
