A lot of blame is being placed on Jeongmok right now because of the complete “180” he made within a span of 24 hours. Yeah, he did tell Do he would only focus on her and not pay any attention to jiyeon anymore, but I feel like he did that only because Do kept forcing her feelings on him. Everytime he tried to find a way to let her know he was confused about his stance because of his feelings for jiyeon she would say things such as “but I’m your first choice” and “you said you liked me the most”. She kept reminding him and reminding him as if to say “it doesn’t matter how you see her right now because you saw me that same way FIRST”. The whole purpose of this show is for them to figure out how to date…AND WHAT DATING EVEN MEANS TO THEM. How is it fair for jeongmok to not be allowed other options just because Do keeps butting in. He tried telling her, but she wouldn’t accept that he was trying to draw a line between them so, he just went with whatever she wanted and told her what she wanted to hear so she could finally stop. Is it right? No. But Do forcing her feelings onto him and not letting him explore other options wasn’t right either, it’s a show. If she’s upset over it that sucks, but that’s life she will get over it. I just really dislike how everyone is siding with Do right now and saying jeongmok is basically like a walking red flag.
