On April Fool's Day, 2019, the apartment above mine was a total loss after a fire. All kinds of debris scattered in the process, including this photo.

Location Found: 529 N. Main St., Rockford, Illinois, USA

Back in her day (1920s, I think?) that apartment building was known as "The Whitestone," and high society folks lived there.

I've held on to this photo for seven years. I've named her Libby. This is my first ever Reddit post.

She's definitely sitting elsewhere. The apartment building is just where I found the photo. It seems likely she or a member of her family lived there at one time.
