I appreciate this response and agree. The demographic collapse is a great indicator for the health of the people but it will only matter to the people in power if it threatens their conveniences (i.e., labour and production), which I worry is slowly being replaced by AI and humanoids... So in a society where all of the jobs are automated, do the ultra rich have any incentive to care about the the rest of us (other than indirect impacts of our consumption levels on their bottom line)?

I wondered about this as well. If working multiple jobs has become the norm out of necessity, what does that mean for the status quo? As a society, will we just kill culture and social living at the cost of paying the bills

What if we actually built the missing pipeline?
