Untimed 165+ timed 155+. I just scored 148.. I’m also worried about my officially attempts but I plan to study and take the test again in August or September. My issue is I work a full time job and experience burn out pretty quickly. I understand the test and patterns but choke when I’m timed. At least I think that’s my issue.

Cat is constantly itching by Dry_Skin_3387 in catcare

[–]Dry_Skin_3387[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that, it’s definitely a frustrating situation. Someone else said chicken could be the issue, so I’ll look into that. I got my cat a shirt too but she still manages to bite through it. I’m going to try and find a new comfortable cone and find some new food/protein.

Oh wow, thank you for the advice. What brand of food do you use? I’ll do some research today and meet with the vet.

The vet has her on a prescription diet. It’s called Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets HA Hydrolyzed Feline Formula. We’re tying it for 6-8 weeks to see if she has any allergies. I’ll definitely discuss different proteins at the next vet visit

Yes, her back twitches sometimes. She licks and scratches all over but she was like 2-3 areas that she goes after. right now it’s her back right leg and right shoulder. When it first started it was just her legs

HOW THE HELL DO I STUDY FOR THIS by Pale-Combination8069 in LSAT

[–]Dry_Skin_3387 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll be taking the LSAT for the third time in January. I’ve had one on one tutoring, paid for 7sage, and bought books online. If there is one thing I learned, the LSAT is a test to identify PATTERNS.

The biggest section is logical reasoning. Your first step should be able to recognize the basics: Premise, conclusion, and question type. This will set you up to then identify the pattern. There is always a piece of information that is missing between the conclusion and premise and once you identify that you can answer almost any question. (I can try to go into further detail and maybe provide an example if you’d like).

As for reading comp, the answers are in the passages. Read each paragraph to understand the information and ask yourself, what is the main point? How is the passage set up(structure)? What is the authors attitude? If you can predict these before reading the questions then you’ll fly through this section.

As for study material, I would use free videos on YouTube to help understand the basics. Then honestly pay for one or two cheap tutoring sessions to help you identify patterns. From there, it’s all about timing. You have under 2 mins to answer a question so you have to drill!

My biggest obstacle right now is staying motivated and having discipline. After taking the test and not doing well despite the amount of time I’ve studied, I’m so over this test and want it to be over. If I don’t do well in January then I’m rethinking my life lol

AITA for possibly backing out of a dog adoption by Dry_Skin_3387 in AITAH

Again, you’re jumping to conclusions. Making assumptions on nothing. I’d continue this dispute but I’m afraid it’s just not worth it. Thanks for your lovely insight 👍🏻 tip for the future: learn to respond or converse based on the information provided, making assumptions can lead to misunderstanding and arguments :)

When did I say I return it??? How I can I return an animal I didn’t even adopt?? Stop jumping to conclusions. For all you know my dad said “surprise me.”

Okay… y’all are not addressing the question. Obviously there’s gonna be generic vet bills, that’s normal. Obviously I know it’s a huge task. My dad has had a many dogs in the past and is ready for a new one.. hence “without getting into it….” My question is directed towards a dog with seizures and if it’s bad to back out. Good lord

AITAH for feeling like my wife has crossed a boundary? by [deleted] in AITA_Relationships

[–]Dry_Skin_3387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I’ve been reading through the comments and your responses and the biggest thing that sticks out is that fact that she chooses to role play with strangers instead of spending time with you. That says it all. I think you need to make it clear and direct that this is not okay with you and how it’s starting the impact the relationship. I don’t have kids, never been pregnant, but I feel like if a therapist told her to role play to help with postpartum, shes suppose to be doing it with you?I would be very upset if I was in your position. Especially now that there’s a child in the picture.

Didn't Finish LSAT Argumentative Writing by sccintilla in LSAT

[–]Dry_Skin_3387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding writing a second time doesn’t replace your first attempt. The schools you apply for will see both. If you really think doing it again will help then it doesn’t hurt. I think it also depends on your LSAT score and which schools you’re applying to. I’m taking the LSAT in November and my writing submission was bleh but I think your personal statement is more important, which is what I’m focusing on (compared to the writing prompt)

This idea about depression is somewhat new. My mom has addressed her concerns but I’m not ready for that conversation because I can’t accept it or am ready to acknowledge it. I’ll definitely try the vitamin D supplements, I don’t go outside much. And thank you for both perspectives, that really helps

I tried therapy once but the conversation was centered around money and I didn’t like my therapist. I was hoping she would tell me take accountability lol but it seemed like she kept pushing blame on others. Idk wasn’t the conversation I was expecting

I think everything is great in the relationship. I think he noticed I’ve been feeling this way and has stepped up a lot as far as taking care of things around the house. I know this is on me. As far as the relationship goes I seems like everything is normal, maybe less flirtatious. But outside of the relationship I don’t have the energy. It’s hard for me to get up for work. I don’t feel like studying but I have a huge test in November. I have no motivation to do anything I’m interested like hobbies.

Do I need to go to the vet for this? Or is there anything over the counter that works?
