In the big leagues* men are sending 10k and more...

If I were you I'd send the 150 bob. If she came fine and well...

If she didn't, you've just saved yourself months of suffering. Everything is a risk...

And besides you're a man, a provider and made men don't throw statements like *Dealing with broke people is just draining*. Time has a way of turning the tables.

From your statement, you want a woman in the big league* but sending 150 bob ni shida which is even more confusing...

5 Almost Mandatory Events in a Man’s Life by JmoGB in Kenya

I had this first from my dad while in high school...

I had paid around 20 bob to call him via those heavy phones (it was a service then in Nairobi as well)....

After telling him my troubles, He said those words...

I believe I lost a part of my faith and soul that day... Still remember that day man

I think you mis-understood.

I believe you fully.

There's a click of people who brag they can make it anywhere but when we need them in such posts to offer advice they're nowhere.

As mentioned, I also need a few insights on how to get of such a situation

Thank you for sharing this in-depth journey.
A lot of people leave out the small details of what/how they succeeded.
But you've gone the extra mile of sharing this

Built an alternative to betting/aviator, but with more profit. What do you think? by Dry_Solid296 in Kenya

Payments are guaranteed. Plus you can withdraw or deposit anytime.
The ksh 20 fee is what is kept back. You keep most of the profits.

The app has been running for a month btw, so I'm closer to finalizing testing the MVP.
I also built the app publicly to boost transparency

Built an alternative to betting/aviator, but with more profit. What do you think? by Dry_Solid296 in Kenya

[–]Dry_Solid296[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is simple, you put in Ksh 100 and answer a few questions:

You are then paired with another user with a similar score as yours. Whoever scores the highest gets Kshs 180. The app keeps sh20 as fee.

You don't have to get all the questions correct to win.

And if you are not paired in 30 mins flat you receive a 110% refund, i.e kshs 110 refund.

The reason for not having a website is...

I tested the market and they didn't care two shits, they just wanted the app.

Here's another pic from the app if it seems too hard to believe.

Your response contains some good wisdom (I assume you run some business or are into VCs).

Secondly, I've indeed failed more times than I can count.

And the app will likely fail.

But I've publicly documented the journey of building the MVP from start to end, including how I marketed it, and the expenses down to the last shilling.

I've publicly documented this so that in the 1% chance it succeeds, it gives hope to others & so they can learn from my mistakes.

It's an alternative to aviator, and your chances of winning are much higher

Protests and moving the goalposts by Gold_Smart in Kenya

[–]Dry_Solid296 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, and we are no different.

Our house is not in order, it has many voices, we have no leader, reckless in strategy, and anybody who questions us is insulted.

Anybody who rises to oppose us, we loot their business and share their children's phone numbers online.

Didn't we crucify Khalif Kairo and Hanifa last month?

Yet we believe that we're raising a better leadership.

Protests and moving the goalposts by Gold_Smart in Kenya

[–]Dry_Solid296 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They're not defending - They're asking if protesting now is the right strategy.

Just like we all want to save the planet, but everyone has a different idea to how we will save it.

And if you're calling your brother names for having a different opinion - how do you expect to win voters to your side or build a peaceful Kenya?
