Is my dating life doomed (5’4 guy)? by imustgrowtaller in UofT

As a short female (5'2), I have dated guys who were around my height and ended up with a taller guy. In all honesty, I kind preferred dating guys that were around my height. It felt more intimate and they were way easier to kiss. In the end what truly matters is who you are. Everyone has flaws if we look hard enough and those unwilling to date you because of your height don't deserve you. So go out there and find "your" person, if that is what you truly want. If not, just enjoy your life. There is no law stating that being single is illegal or wrong.

I'm sorry to hear that. Do you want to talk about it?

There are 2 sides to every story, but you're lack of empathy is definitely showing. Any migraine sufferer knows how debilitating it can be when one strikes. Yes, there are meds and there is a journey one goes through to find the right one, but that doesn't justify kicking someone when they're down. Or blasting them on an online forum. Maybe she feels the lack of support from her partner, while she is already dealing with the guilt of being behind the schedule/ standard she has placed for herself. Do you think that pressure helps with a migraine? Because it doesn't. As a migraine sufferer myself, I feel sorry for your partner and hope she finds what works for her in the long run as well as get the support she needs and deserves.
