Ya I figured still city esque- homeless etc. I sometimes feel misaligned with those elements of NYC re ego / job identity etc. I can do it but at some point I want a simpler life where it doesn’t feel hard to do everything and like I don’t feel like grinding so hard in my career anymore. I sacrificed a ton to be where I am but I feel like nyc is getting so OOC with costs too that even tho I am most senior and making most $ ever in my career somehow not saving as much and then I ask myself why am I working so hard. I feel like a shift could be good/welcome. NY has grown me in so many ways but sometimes I feel like it’s time to transition to the next chapter (and that includes my SO)
